"We had a lovely time but it didn’t feel like a cottage setting. Neighbours were very close to us. The river was interesting as we watched pontoons go up and down. The firepit was nice and big. Kitchen was good but a microwave would have been welcome to warm up leftovers. If you are looking for a quiet cottage setting, this may not be the place for you. "

The location is unbeatable, situated directly on the lake, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. "The property is beautiful and the inside looks nice but that’s where the positive ends. Upon arrival at 4:00 we could not enter because there was a cleaner there still cleaning. Upon entry, a half hour later, the floors were soaking wet and slippery. The garbages were not empty in the bathrooms. The bedding was not freshly laundered. The oven was full of dirty pans(one full of oil). There was open bags of chips shoved in a kitchen drawer. The smoke detector beeped all night long because of a...

"Clean and cute. Close to the water. Had all the fixings for four.. No outdoor eating area would be my only complaint. Bring chairs for the beach and campfire only Muskoka chairs provided. "

"The 5 Acre Woods property was exactly as described and more. The property is very private due to the large lot and the many trees. Exactly what we were looking for. I loved that we could enjoy a wood fire both inside in the wood stove and outside in the fire pit.
