NOTE: REVIEW PERTAINS TO THE "RIN" NOT THE "RIN EXPRESS." A very nice experience. I booked the RIN Express (the budget hotel) but they upgraded me to the standard RIN at no extra charge as the Express hotel was being remodeled. Staff were very polite and friendly, and spoke English well (I speak very little Romanian). The hotel is within walking distance of Henri Coanda Airport (though a shuttle is available) and close to a bus stop that heads straight into the center of Bucharest. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I had to laugh at was the free city map provided in the room, which features ads for escort services and erotic massage parlors! Other than that, it seems like a high quality place. I was only in Bucharest for less than 24 hours, so I had to get to the hotel quickly, take a shower, and get into town quickly to do some sight-seeing. And the next morning, get back to the airport quickly for my flight to Tbilisi. The RIN was perfectly positioned. There is an ATM in the lobby so I could get Romanian Lei before my bus ride into town.

Lovely hotel with free shuttle to the airport! Had to call room service for ice and ice bucket. Didn't like to have to tip for this service but room attendee was delightful!

Great layover hotel
The hotel was very close to the airport and it was a very cheap taxi ride to get there. I wish that there was clearer information either on this site or the hotel website about how to arrange the free shuttle from the airport because it was not very clear and I ended up taking a taxi both ways. I had a late arrival and a very early departure so the location was key because I got the most sleep possible as I did not have to leave very early to get to HC airport (which I would have had I stayed in city centre.) The staff was friendly and spoke English and my room was tidy and suited all of my needs. If I was flying through Bucharest again I would book this hotel.

Perfect for an airport overnight stay
Chose RIN for our last night in Romania after touring the countryside. It was a perfect place for a cheap and easy overnight stay before an early flight. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi was only available in the lounge (rooms had wired internet connection but newer Mac laptops, iPads, and phones don't have a port for this connection).

Ref comfort of room, it was perfectly ok, for preflight stay. although bedroom was very hot and i could not turn off heating -yes i know i could have asked someone to help or changed room. However I opened window but as overlooking the snowy court yard the fan / generator noise was intrusive. So noise or heat

very basic.... bare room. no kettle, not even basic toiletries, 1 hand-soap dispenser falling off wall. breakfast cold and unappetising, despite being first down at restaurant opening 630am. This used to be a homeless hostel/family emergency hostel... it is of that standard. Cheap, but very very basic.

a nice hotel
a nice hotel but got the wrong room, double instead of of twin, then changed for the 3-bed room. There was no haidryer in our room, although it was listed in the description. I told at the reception then got one that actually didn't work. But all in all nice hotel, close to the airport and free transfer to and from the airport

Very nice staff, clean hotel, good rate for a restful night prior to a "red-eye" flight out of Bucharest. Free shuttle to airport only runs hourly but that was OK with us.

A clean hotel with large rooms. I've stayed here several times and each time it has been the same - the room is fine, but don't expect any attempt to please customers. For example, if you need internet after you have checked out of your room, don't expect it - they will immediately switch it off.

Great Airport Hotel
A very unexpectedly excellent hotel. Absolutely ideal for the airport and very good value for money. The room was modern and very clean, with a great shower, and as it was hot outside, very welcome aircon. The windows were well insulated from the planes flying close by. We had a meal at the 'Rustic' restaurant and all the food was all authentic Romanian which was unusual for a airport hotel. Prices were all reasonable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We made use of the excellent free mini-bus to the airport. We had dropped our hire car at the airport the night before and easily walked from the airport to the hotel in about 15 mins. The only issue is crossing over the very busy 6 lanes of traffic to the hotel if on foot - there is a crossing further on down the road, but still pretty un-nerving by UK standards - not recommended with suitcases. All in all, highly recommended.
