"Very convenient to all the DDay Beaches close to Arromanches. A nice little house with with everything you need for a holiday except bath towels, washcloths and bath soap. There is parking onsite for your car and there is also a washing machine and clothesline for drying. The communication with the property owner was excellent. I would highly recommend this property if you are traveling to the beaches at Normandy."

"Great location, wonderful loved home. Hostess was thoughtful. Just a few ideas…. we went in January the whole town was closed. So if you go that time of year in the off season make sure you have car. Bayuex is a 20 minute drive. "

"The property is quite well located. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. The bathroom is very small especially the shower that only had a curtain and you had to be very careful not to get overspill onto the floor. The bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom toilet was downstairs which wasn`t the most convenient layout."

"Charming apartment on the bustling streets of Bayeux. Coffee, pastries and restaurants within a block, many restaurant choices and a grocery store within 3 blocks. Walk to the cathedral and the museums. The apartment itself is small but well laid out, the living room overlooks the street and the bedroom is in the back (very quiet). "The apartment was fantastic and the host very accommodating. The area was not great. Very loud at night and one party until three in the morning. The street was very dirty and smelly. "

"This was a great property to stay at. It is located 20 minutes from Bayeux and was easily accessible. The map on VRBO has the address as number 37 if you click on the map but the address is listed as number 17 and that is correct. George offered to prepare us dinner the night we arrived but I waited too long to respond so if you are interested in that reply early. The beds were great, the house was comfortable and the location was good. Would stay there again. "

"A great week spent at Claires quiet and tranquil village house. Ideally located for a visit to the WW2 historical sites. Deceptively spacious, clean and with secure off road parking. Local supermarket only 2km away at Cruelly. Proved to be ideal for us touring the area on motorcycles. A little investment in some comfortable furniture would make it the perfect holiday spot. " We stayed at the Fisherman’s Cottage in Port-En-Bessin to enjoy the coast and explore D-Day history. The cottage was perfect for both. Laeticia, our host, was pleasant and responsive, a delight. The cottage is beautifully appointed. The decor is lovely and the layout extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the living room is bright and cozy. room. "A group of 11 of our family enjoyed the beauty of the area from this super central location! Plenty of private space and bathrooms to accommodate and the kitchen dining and sitting areas were great for all of us to hang out after the day’s activities! Enjoyed the d day sites but also the quaint villages and seaside towns including port en bessin. Make sure to also go to Bayeux to visit a really amazing city and maybe catch the farmers market! Truly loved our stay"

"We really enjoyed this house. It is well situated for visiting the Normandy sites/D-day beaches. There is a great bakery down the street and some good shops. We loved the hosts, who were very helpful and great with communication. They will meet you to show you the house and give you the keys.The shower is especially good, so enjoy that.One thing to be careful of is the spiral staircase, they are metal and a little tricky to navigate, so watch out for that. Otherwise, you will not regret staying...
