There isn't a great deal directly around the resort, so make sure you've stocked up on food before you arrive....although, it's not far to drive into Pisa if you need supplies! "We were a group of 7 and rented all 4 rooms in the building. We loved the private, remote location and the outdoor areas - such as the covered seating area next to the grill and games on the lawn! The pool is huge and especially deep! Claudia takes great care of it (we could not find the special sun tan cream that she recommended - for some reason our normal sun tan lotions caused white swimming costumes to go yellow in places). Thankfully I read a review about the mosquitoes so we came well...
