"Great property with lovely facilities we struggled parking and there was quite a bit of rubbish just outside the hotel, but overall very good."

"Reception service on arrival could have been better...one guest being dealt with ahead of me who then went to get something from his car or somewhere. No communication with me or "sorry please bear with me". Nothing. This guest's wife then comes back in and it takes 10 minutes to deal with her before i am dealt with. No apology or even 'sorry for the wait'. Pretty poor. Room was ok but was told that it has an adjoining door to another room and that 'if i keep it closed, the other guests can't...

"Amazing cozy little castle, very well preserved. We really felt the medieval vibe. Curro is an incredible host and he gave us a wonderful tour around the castle and the church beside with very interesting history facts.He is the best host and an artist that makes your stay unforgettable Breakfast was delicious prepared by his wife Susana. A dream come true. Highly recommended "

"The site is unique and amazing. An unforgettable experience. "

"The Hotel was great. Nice cafe for snacks and we ate in the restaurant in the evening and really enjoyed the food and the staff were attentive. Only complaint I had a stater my wife didn’t. My starter came (very nice) but my wife’s main came before I had finished my starter, so I was eating my main after. Great I could park my motorcycle right outside the hotel. "

"The hotel itself is nice enough and we would have enjoyed the outdoor areas at and near the hotel with better weather. Annoyingly, the bar wasn't open in the afternoon and we noticed quite a number of people waiting when it did open. Strangely, the bar is not accessible through the hotel when the restaurant is closed, needing to walk around the front to get to. There must have been a large party booked in to the restaurant as it was full immediately after it opened so we had to wait an hour and...

"Well appointed hotel situated right in the town centre of Daroca. Easy check in, very helpful staff , undercover , secure parking for our motorcycle. Reasonably priced with breakfast included, on site restaurant serving good quality food. "

"It's very difficult to know how to rate this hotel. A beautiful old inn set in a stunning location. A few irritations though, made what could have been a fabulous experience into an expensive let down. Over 300 euros for dinner bed and breakfast warrants more personal care and attention. After driving up a very narrow track you arrive at the car park. Press the button on a large gate, not a word of welcome on the intercom. Gate opens and off you and your baggage trek, down 42 steep cobbled...

"Food is the only downside, as you are fairly isolated you have to eat in the hotel restaurant and the choices were limited to three main entrees when we were there."

"This was a very pleasant surprise for us. What a fantastic location for beautiful nighttime strolls. The hotel is charming and comfortable. There is plenty of hot water for showering, and the breakfast was first rate. I would stay here again."

"Pasamos 4 días fantásticos en la casa y disfrutamos de su entorno maravilloso. La casa se encuentra en Nuevalos, un pequeño pueblo de la comarca que está a pocos km del Monasterio de Piedra y de Calatayud. La casa genial, limpia y acogedora. Ani, la persona que se encarga de la gestión es atenta y servicial. En definitiva, todo perfecto."

No communication with me or "sorry please bear with me". Nothing. This guest's wife then comes back in and it takes 10 minutes to deal with her before i am dealt with. No apology or even 'sorry for the wait'. Pretty poor. Room was ok but was told that it has an adjoining door to another room and that 'if i keep it closed, the other guests can't get in!' Very reassuring! Keycard operated door had a weird way of locking - if you weren't careful it wasn't secure. Decor in the Hallway was peeling off the wall and carpet was marked quite badly. Positives: Very good spread at breakfast. Good shower in pretty clean room with large fridge ( always a bonus). Location is great: 5 minutes to train station; 5 minutes to town; 10 minutes to the old town. Very good value for money just a couple of little things let it down..."
