We really enjoyed our stay at Maggie’s. It was peaceful, clean, cozy. The master bed was the sooo comfortable! Much needed after a great day walking around Bryson City and the mountains! 10/10 recommend!
Quaint secluded cottage! Great fire pit area. It was just what we wanted; a small, no frills, log cabin with a king size bed. It’s up in the mountains, the road to this cabin is narrow and steep! It’s right near an entrance to the Smoky Mountains with some great trails that lead to pretty waterfalls.
We loved the location, secluded, quiet, lovely scenery, nothing but trees. Great place to enjoy the mountains and if you like to tube or raft Bryson City is the place to go.
Cabin was clean and had pretty much everything you need. Owner was great and answered any questions I had, and they responded quickly. We will defiantly be back.
This cabin was AWESOME! Everything was so clean with plenty of great soft towels for the bathroom and outdoor hot tub. This cabin was just the perfect size and so cozy. Wonderful firepit with plenty of chairs, a great wrap around porch to sit and so many wooded views! The hot tub was so clean and worked perfect. Cabin was decorated so cute and beds were so comfortable. It is rare I like everything about a cabin I rent and this certainly exceeded all of my expectations! Also there were games available to play as well.... UNO! :-) Host was exceptional about answering questions prior to arrival...location was great! I will definetly be back!!!!

Just okay
Nice cabin and it was clean except the bathroom shower curtain had what looked like mold on it. Beds are comfortable and the cabin is decorated nice. Getting to the cabin was difficult on a small road and the GPS didn't work. Called the host for better directions to let him know we were lost and he was extremely rude on the phone. He did immediately send a guy to help us but I didn't like being talked down too. The cabin was to far away from the areas we wanted to visit. For those reasons, I would stay in the pigeon forge or Gatlinburg area next time I visit the smokies and wouldn't stay here again.
Summer vaca 2024 was a momentous one for us as my husband has had some illnesses and we’ve been unable to travel for a few years until this trip. We chose this property for its location and amenities (fire pit, hot tub, etc.) and we were so glad that we did. Our family reconnected here, laughed here, enjoyed being around one another and were completely stress free for the week.
This secluded cabin is up a winding road in deep woods (we didn’t have 4-wheel drive and did fine). Unfortunately, we didn’t see any animals here, but we certainly did in the park. The entrance to the park is maybe 30 minutes up the road and I would say to get to Gatlinburg it’s a little over an hour. It was wonderful to have this as our home base and would stay here again. The owner was warm and welcoming in all of our conversations. 10/10. Book it.
Quiet and secluded while conveniently located close to town.
Relatively clean, just minor things that could have had closer attention but from the other reviews, must have been an “off day” for housekeeping. Owner was very responsive and courteous.
Hot tub was great and clean. King bed was a big soft hug to sleep in :)
Place was comfy and well equipped. Would stay there again.
The place was beautiful and very secluded. Everything was clean including the hot tub. If we are ever back that way again, I would definitely look into renting this cabin.
My husband and I stayed at this property while celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and can I just say it is the cutest little cabin. It was absolutely the perfect size for my husband and I, but would also be perfect for a small family or two couples traveling together. Everything was very clean and adorably decorated. The hot tub was also perfect. It was super quiet and secluded. The only draw back for me was the one lane road driving up, it was crazy, My husband loved it though and I think we only meet three other cars the entire time we were there. While there we took advantage of the Cherokee Casino, the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, The Road to Nowhere and Deep Creek Trails with 3 Waterfalls. We didn't do the tubing but we will be back and that will be on the list for sure the next time.
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy and clean. It had a well supplied kitchen. Internet and TV all worked perfectly. There is a nice outdoor hot tub next to the building. The location is convenient to Bryson City and south side entrances to Smoky Mountains NP. One caveat — the cabin is deep in the woods, up narrow mountain roads. GPS did not work, be sure to follow the owner’s directions to find it. If you are flying in access is easier from Asheville vs Knoxville.
We rented this cabin for a quick weekend trip to the area. It was in a quiet wooded area, very clean, and well maintenanced. Everything was very comfortable. The owner answered messages quickly and was very helpful. Would not hesitate to stay again!
This cabin was the perfect getaway spot. It is located right outside the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with an unlimited number of things to do. Bryson City is minutes away for convenience, too! I would highly recommend this clean, cute cabin in the woods.
What a great getaway we had in Bryson City. The cabin was super clean and cozy. The king size bed felt like sleeping on a cloud and we loved the secluded feel of the cabin. Super close to downtown. We did the Train ride, rafting the Nantahala and shopped in downtown. It's even close to Cherokee to see the Elk and Asheville to visit the Biltmore. I would definitely stay here again.
My friends and I had a wonderful time at the cabin! It was a perfect little getaway for us. The drive in is a little tight (one car wide road) and if you are coming in at night it’s harder to figure out which way you should go. Other than that the place is fabulous! The view is pretty and the fire pit is a fun addition! The owner was great. We arrived late at night (around 11pm) and we got a little turned around and he was able to tell us how to get back. He is super nice and helpful!
We enjoyed this basic, very quiet, comfortable, clean cabin. The climb to the cabin is .7 mile on a narrow, one vehicle, well maintained road. It was difficult turning around our truck from the small driveway. We enjoyed the well maintained hot tub and the king bed. Great visit to Bryson City area.
