"My daughter, a student at a nearby University, and I, took a few hours to walk the property and enjoy dinner before returning her to campus. I then came back and stayed in one of the rooms. I was so very comfortable and enjoyed the views and peace of the absolute feeling of isolation of a time gone by. Good bed, an actual bedroom into the room, and excellent/beautiful surroundings. Loved it. I will stay a couple of day in the upcoming fall. "

"The home was as listed. There was sufficient space for my husband and I, our son and his family (wife and two children ages 9&11). The home was clean decorated well. I can’t think of anything we needed that wasn’t provided. "

"This house has all the character that I love and all the functionality that I love. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and the rest of the house is charming! Neighbors have horses. Nice quiet neighborhood. Hard to find a house with a king size bed which is must for my husband and they had extra blankets. Just needed an extra fan to make some background noise. "

"We loved the location of this property for exploring the Lexington area! The neighborhood was so peaceful, great for taking a stroll, and an easy distance from the downtown sights, Keeneland, and the Kentucky Horse Park. The house was very tastefully decorated and clean and had all the amenities needed with consideration for the traveler in mind. We would most definitely stay at this home again!!"

"Certainly impressed with the state of the hotel compared to a few years ago. Beds are super comfortable and a personal favorite of mine is all of the fluffy yet supportive pillows you get on the bed unlike most other hotels. Staff is always welcoming & helpful with anything you need 😊. "
