we are grant summit cabins and have 9 cabins on the property in a gated community. we built the cabins ourselves and manage them also. beautiful landscape and concrete drive into the area. we started building in 2011 and have built according to demand. i have always turned down several families so i kept building . the area is not crowded and the views are great. we live 5 miles from property so we are not far away if you have a problem of any sort.

we have 3 beds and 2 futons.

NO PETS- tenants will be evicted with no refund!
NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND (including vaping & cigars) INSIDE, if you must smoke please do so outside with doors and windows shut. Please pick up after yourself, no butts left BEHIND (on the ground)

We are located on the central/eastern time zone line and your phones may switch back and forth. The cabins run on CENTRAL STANDARD TIME.

Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% (minus a +$50.00 processing fee) of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in the second 50% payment will be cancelled and the first 50% payment will NOT be refunded. If you are eligible for a refund due to a cancellation, there will be a +$25.00 fee for the refund. Otherwise, they won't get a refund. you will be charged 2 payments; first payment 50 percent and the 2nd payment 50 percent will be taken out when your stay is 30 days or less before arrival.

We had a great week here the cabin was just as described peaceful and beautiful view. We loved that you got the sunset and sunrise all from The same deck. We drove to some beautiful waterfalls went into Chattanooga a few days perfect week away just what we needed

“Fish Tales” Cabin.
We were at the Fish Tales cabin for 3 nights. It was very clean and felt like we were at home. The scenic views were awesome. Would not hesitate to recommend the cabins to family and friends. We were pleasantly surprised by the fall decorations installed outside. Took some great pictures. We were in the area to see the attractions in Chattanooga.

Will be back !!!!!
We had our 10 year anniversary getaway here and fell in love with this place ! It was gorgeous! We will be coming back and next time with both our in laws and kiddos ! We stayed in fish tales cabin and it had plenty of room with a beautiful view that was etched in our souls ! Loved it !!!!!! And the price was great especially with the view over the Tennessee river !!!

Wonderful family retreat away
Our family has started a tradition of coming to the Chattanooga area to celebrate my birthday as it is equidistant from us all. We stayed at Fish Tales this year and agreed it was our best experience. The views are amazing and the cabin was clean and fun. You're about 18 minutes from groceries, shops, restaurants and the like and about 30 minutes from Chattanooga. But you feel as isolated as you wish to be at the cabin. We cook a lot and next year, we'll bring a few more things such as good knives for meal prep and also some wine and cocktail glasses but otherwise, we're ready to return!

Comic con weekend getaway!
Of the 4 of us, 2 of us had stayed at Grant Summit previously (Eagle’s Nest) and had a great experience, so we came back… and brought 2 more! Once Again, the cabin was immaculate, cozy, serene, and even luxurious in some ways (hot tub, fireplace, view). It was incredible to just sit on the balcony- overlooking the mountains and Nickajack Dam- sip a refreshing beverage and read. The view from upstairs was even better! And the hot tub was the icing on the cake, especially because it was private and also offered a panoramic mountain/dam view as well! It is obvious the owners and staff at Grant Summit are empathetic and compassionate in providing just the right decor, furnishings, and amenities to make guests feel comfortable, valued, and even loved. Thank you so much!

What a great cabin with an unbelievable view.
Wow!!! We loved our stay at the cabin. Something for everyone - hot tub for the kids and adults, exploring the frog pond, sipping coffee as the clouds roll through the valley below. The frequency of the trains made a 10-year old boy very happy. An early morning stroll resulted in us seeing 5 deer- however, the number grew to 11! by the time we were home. Amazing how a kid's math works. We are looking forward to a return visit. Thank you for sharing your space with us.

Best Kept Secret!
This was our second stay at the Grant Summit Cabins (last time in the Wildflower, this time in Fish Tales). We brought family along with us this time and everyone was so impressed. The view is absolutely breathtaking and we loved the plentiful opportunities to enjoy it: the windows from inside the cabin, deck, swing, fire pit, picnic table, gazebo... Our early-rising 21m old daughter loved that we could sit on the deck and watch tiny cars passing on the road, boats on the water, and frequent trains passing down by the dam (we couldn't hear the trains inside the cabin, but could hear a soft "choo-choo" from the deck). The cabin was so clean that I felt very much at home. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped with dishes for eating and cooking, pot holders, towels and more. You might want to bring an extra roll or 2 of toilet paper and paper towels. They are provided but depending on how many people you have, you may want more than one roll of TP per bathroom. We also needed dish soap for washing after we cooked. The drive into Chattanooga is short enough and easy. We just planned our activities and meals so that we only went into town once each day. We were coming from the Huntsville, AL, area, so it was nice to be that much closer for traveling too/from our little vacation. I really don't have anything negative to say about our stay!

Wonderful property, with amazing views of the TN river. Everything was perfect for a relaxing get away, with plenty of fun nature activities nearby. Caving, Whitewater, Hiking, Chatanooga, food, etc.

I try to point out the good and bad when I write a review, so I'll do my best to remember both sides. Good: The view was amazing! I loved sitting on the front porch each morning while I did my Bible study. You can see boats floating on the river and wildlife buzzing around you. I loved the floor plan. I'm partially disabled and stairs are difficult for me, and I never had to go upstairs in the cabin. Upstairs has two bedrooms and one bath, so that is where our daughters stayed. The master is on the main level, so the only required stairs is going to the front porch. Everything was clean when we arrived and overall we had a great trip. Bad: The outside lighting isn't that great. We arried at night and it was difficult to see on the path from the parking lot to the porch. Solar lights outlining the path might be a good solution. My biggest complain inside is that there isn't a dishwasher. The kitchen really isn't big enough to hold one, so I understand why one wasn't added. I just didn't like having to wash dishes on vacation. The living room TV is really small. We don't watch a lot of TV on vacation, but we did take advantage of Netflix and had a marathon of Lost in Space at night. It works, but it really is too small for such a large area. This may not be the fault of the owner, but we were a little deceived by the location. My search parameter was for Guntersville, and Bryant is an hour away. I definitely am at fault for not doing reseach before booking, but I don't think Guntersville should be included in the search parameters. It's really closer to Chattanooga. The trade-off to the awesome view is that you have to drive at least 40 minutes to civilazation. If you like being secluded, this is definitely the cabin for you. Just know if you like to go out for dinner, the round trip drive alone will be over an hour. Overall, we were pleased and will consider returning, but may choose a different cabin in the group. (with a dishwasher)

Spring break mini trip
I have had this place saved in my trip board and it was worth the wait to have time off to go. I could have used one more night it was so peaceful. The view is amazing from sunrise to sunset. Enough patio and privacy to hang out and enjoy the hot tub. Plenty of towels and blankets and the layout of the cabin was convenient. Communication with property owner was minimum, instructions from check in to hot tub use was thorough and easy to follow, but when I did they were quick to respond. Thank you for a great stay!

WOW!
Beautiful, super clean cabin with GORGEOUS views …. and a hot tub! The cabin was very accommodating for our family (3 adults and two little ones) getaway with plenty of room. Good idea to bring food since restaurants are closer to town. Looking forward to returning for sure!
