My husband and I stayed at this property with our adult daughter, her husband and their infant. Most important to us, the bungalow was clean. The owner provided plenty of towels and the kitchen was well equipped. A water cooler provided drinking water, thankfully, as the tap water smelled strongly of iron and thus was distasteful. We had access to kayaks and the yard had a grill and a fire pit, which made for pleasant evenings. Though there are enough beds to sleep eight adults (four in one large room upstairs and two each in two bedrooms), the bungalow is quite tight and may not be comfortable for more than four. A bigger problem, however, is the shower: It is miniscule, and it’s doubtful a larger person could fit. What’s more, the water heater is so small that, when taking showers, each of us turned the water on only long enough to get wet, then off while we lathered up; back on to rinse, then off to shampoo; and back on only to rinse again. Overall, the location and cleanliness made for a nice stay but the smell and availability of hot water were hard to ignore.
