"The property is wonderfully located. It is a nice historic house and the bedroom and bath are very spacious. The problem for us was that the tub is a high step over the rim and the shower is only hand held. Since my husband has double knee replacement, this was a problem and providing a step stool would have made life easier. Although I like a chilly bedroom at night, it was also quite cold during the day. The owner seemed quite put out that we mentioned these problems."

"I absolutely LOVED the stay in Brussels! Never been to Brussels before and I love it. The stay was fabulous with a gorgeous room that I wasn’t expecting it to be so nice. Great breakfast in the morning and they made sure everything was good throughout the stay. I would give 20 stars if I could. I do a lot of traveling and have not stayed in a better place. Beds were so comfortable, shower was some of the best water pressure I have ever had, these words sum it up: Amazing! Beautiful! Friendly!...

"The location is extremely close to all beautiful attractions. Walking distance to malls and historical places; chocolate shops. The stairs are so sharp and our room was on 4 th floor. I made a booking almost 1 month ahead and I am almost 60 years old. I asked them to give us a lower level room. No availability. And the toilet was outside. Make sure you don’t get the 4 th level."

"Erick (and his fluffy cats) welcomed us to his lovely home for our Christmas market break. He was an incredibly friendly host, sharing plenty of recommendations for things to do in the local area. His breakfasts are entirely homemade, with bread, yoghurt, and jams that he bakes/prepares himself. He even presses his own orange juice. "Everything was very good except for the fact that I could not get into the hotel upon arrival. Evidently I was supposed to receive a code but never got it. Thankfully, the owner/manager answered the phone and was able to buzz me in. I should add that the breakfast was astonishing. In short, one mix up but a high level of hospitality. I plan to go back, making sure to get a code to get in. Outstanding location too!"

"The hotel and rooms were great. This was built in 1764, so it has been remodeled a number of times. It really has a nice comfortable feel to it and the breakfast was great in the morning. It is also within walking distance to the major sites in the center of Brussels, but that is the challenging part as well. The neighborhood is known for car break ins. "Amazing check in service and friendly and amazing staff, they were so keen to help and go out of their way to make us welcome despite being from England. I loved the vibe and the area was fantastic. The ease of check in and out was brilliant and the breakfast was fine. The only concern I had was that the air conditioning was only allowed to be set at hot and I feel sick when a room is warm so I couldn’t cool it down using the air conditioning meaning I had an uncomfortable nights sleep. Please Europe consider asking guests on check in whether they’ll require cool air rather than being set at the European temperature (warm) Otherwise an amazing stay and I will definitely be back! "

Great place for a weekend away.

"AMAZING! Great place for a small weekend away to Brussels / Belgium. The location is absolutely perfect as it is right in the centre of everything you will need. Even though it is in a busy area, there is absolutely no noise coming into the rooms. I would highly recommend for anyone who is tight on time / wants to prioritise location. Rooms were incredibly decent and comfortable. Minor point about temperature fluctuations in the shower but that is it!"
