"Had a very pleasant stay recently at the Portland Harbor Hotel. The rooms are spacious with a great view of downtown Portland. The front desk service was good and the room rate was reasonable. When I checked in I would have appreciated being told that I needed to use my room key to make the elevator work, but that was a minor issue. It is a little odd that when you arrive with luggage, the main lobby is up one flight of stairs, but Portland is a hilly town. Finally, what amounts to a continental breakfast buffet (with fruit, yogurt and very tasty baked goods) is at the end of every floor and is included with your room. Nice touch!"
