"Villa Nemora exceeded our expectations on all fronts. It was a truly amazing place and experience. Giulia and Leone are outstanding hosts. We had a party of 40 people for 4 nights to celebrate my 50th birthday and Villa Nemora made it a truly special occasion. "Excellent hotel. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Executive king room was very nice, shower with good water pressure. Small elevator but worked fine. Easy walk into historic Siena. We traveled by train and directions provided by hotel staff from train station to hotel were spot on. Be aware escalators in shopping mall go on and on! But are efficient in getting you to upper level where road is to hotel. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Great restaurant just down the street called Osteria Rusticamente that has from scratch food and reasonable priced. Lovely husband and wife owned."

Wonderful experience

"This was an awesome experience. To be able to stay in a former monastery that was hundreds of years old was a wonderful addition to our overall trip. While the beds aren't as comfortable as I am use to, the experience was worth the minor discomfort of the beds. The grounds are amazing, the chapel was so exquisite and the staff was wonderful."

"HIghly recommend this property. I had a magnificent view of the valley, the sunrise and birds singing will be unforgettable. The staff is helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast with quality food included. Montalcino is a cool hilltop town. If you plan an overnight, make this your hotel of choice. "

"Located at the far end of Siena (15 minutes taxi ride from the train station) on a quiet street with not much pedestrian traffic unlike the rest of the town. It is still close to the main square, cathedral, museums and all other interesting sites. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a view to a beautiful little garden below. The breakfast was OK with cheese, pastries, fruit and good coffee. Our only complaint (hence minus one star on facilities) would be non-existent WiFi in the room, it was extremely slow and was losing connection all the time. "
