The BrewersHouse truly became our home for our stay in Belgium. It was close to city center (and far enough away ;-) ), lots of space, including a separate building with a bedroom and full bath (shower), with very comfortable sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was convenient, and we easily made breakfast and a few dinners in the house.
It's close to the bus to the train station for easy access to towns like Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels. There's parking for the car that took us to the seashore, Ypres (Ieper), and Waterloo.
Our hosts brought us a wonderful, fresh-cooked meal (prepared in the house) one night, along with some great beer and gin from their brewery/distillery.
Our hosts were also very flexible--we had originally planned this trip during the height of the Omicron COVID pandemic, and rescheduled it to June, then again to December of 2022. I can't begin to voice my appreciation for that!
Note that the property is well-appointed with everything you might need . . . but the stairs are quite steep, and not appropriate for young children.
I highly recommend the property and its hosts for teenagers through adults, but not for anyone with mobility issues.
