The hotel services and staff are in the Novotel in front of this one, it’s a bit inconvenient in some moments, some staff treat you well, but some others treat you like “second class” The hotel is incredibly well located.

On arrival, it was a little confusing to find the location as it is set back from the satellite navigation location on the road. Once hotel was found, it was easy to park in the public car park and not too badly priced per day. The rooms were clean and comfortable enough and the cleaning staff are friendly. Since our holiday was in winter, we can only guess that mosquitoes are living in the air conditioning as we were bitten and mosquitoes were visibly flying around the room. Overall, we had a great time in Bruges and want to stay again, hopefully minus the mosquitoes.

The ibis is so so old and dated. Couldn’t turn heat off and no coffee or anything in room. Luckily you can use the bar at the Novotel opposite which is far nicer and wish we stayed there!

The Hotel is central and very convenient for everything we wanted to do in Bruges. However, the reception in the Hotel was closed and it was very noisy at night. It felt like we were staying in student digs. The staff in Novotel were very nice and very helpful.

I had a room on the fourth floor, just for myself, a comfy double bed and an amazing view of Bruges! It was ideally positioned within the city and there was so much to explore and things we didnt get to explore.

Poor hotel
Very dated hotel in serious need of a refit. Certainly overpriced for the state if the rooms. Heating was broken as in it was either on or off and not controllable by the guest. My room was so hot it was unbearable and i ended up opening the window even though i was on the ground floor. The staff were nice i have to say but still couldnt do anything to sort the temperature other than have it left on or switched off.

Loved the staff at the hotel, breakfast was good, the fact that we can use the installations of novotel is also nice, mostly for the evening bar (with a really good chocolat mousse and coffee) and also for the breakfast in the morning. as for the hotel/room, since ibis is in an older building, the room is also a little bit old, however it´s clean and comfy and the location of the hotel is also pretty good. They are next to a parking place which is also nice, and you can walk around the city most famous spots in a few minutes.
