"The unit was adorable, very spacious, and modern! However, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and items left in the refrigerator, I’m guessing from the last occupants, which was surprisingly odd. Parking is expensive, but it’s Downtown Detroit, so that was pretty much expected. But everything is within walking distance, so that’s a plus! Overall, my stay was pretty decent. "The Shinola hotel was amazing. We received an upgrade upon arrival at no extra charge, as I had prepaid already. The room was spacious and the shower was great. I enjoyed making coffee in the morning. Of course I brought my own. We would come back in a heartbeat."
