A note to help others is the town closes at around 4:30pm so you will have to go to the next town over to find a restaurant that is open. You will need to have a reservation because they fill up fast and the to-go food places are cash only."

"Our stay in Magherafelt was lovely in every way. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. Our hosts, Siobhan and John, were simply wonderful. They greeted us, gave us a tour of the house, explained any thing we may have needed to know and answered all questions we had. "Stop your search- this place is awesome. Our family could have spent hours sitting in that window looking at the views. Great location to explore so much nearby- Giants Causeway, beautiful Antrim Coast, Carrick-e-rede, Dunluce Castle, and so much more we didn't get to explore. "Fantastic stay in a beautiful part. of Northern Ireland. Communication was great and property was even better than expected. Hot tub was a welcome addition and although the property is about 45 mins from the airport, hiring a car is easy and affordable and then you have much better access here to other spots on the coast. 5 star, would stay again, and thank you to Niall and Janeen for their hospitality. "We are an adult family of six who stayed at this lovely historic home. We all had our own washrooms and our own space. It was beautiful weather, so we got to use the patio every day. The kitchen was spacious, but we did not use the kitchen table as we ate outside. We had several nice walks/runs on the seawall which was just a few short steps from the house. Only downside was construction going on the nearby Shore Road. Overall a great experience!"
