"This marvellously tasteful gite met all our expectations and more. Donna was the best host and thought about our every need. "Charming spot is as described, stone house with a brook running behind. Stayed in early March so the house had to be heated by the wood stove fairly constantly. Some wood was provided but we had to go up the hill to fill a wheelbarrow for another load. Internet access was sketchy at times. A weak signal. The manager didn't speak English, so we had a communication problem from the beginning. "One of the beds on second floor was uncomfortable, trip hazards for young children, particularly in kitchen area. On the plus side, the chateau is very well equipped, beautiful crockery, dishes and bowls. Stunning location, historic chateau with ancient aspects. We really enjoyed our stay and thank Katia and Gerhard for their attention to detail. We thoroughly recommend this property and its location. "
