"I booked the wrong week like a moron. Pauline was still able to accommodate even though I didn’t notice until about noon the day we arrived. It’s a very well done barn conversion. It was great having an enclosed yard for the dog. You can’t beat the price and we even got to feed the alpacas."

"We had an amazing week at Misty Cottage over the Christmas week. The cottage was fully equipped and gave 3 generations the space that was needed. "The cottage had been beautifully renovated and was located centrally in the old district of town. A couple of small things would have improved the stay-the stairs to the second storey were steep and a bannister rail would have been appreciated, several basic supply items were lacking- no tea bags or fire lighters to light the kindling and wood supplied, and the heating automatically turned off after short periods and not all heaters appeared to be working. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at York cottage. There are several cottages so it felt like a tiny hamlet. Having access to the beautiful hotel grounds was a bonus, especially with having our dog with us. Inside the property was decorated and furnished to a very high standard. We tested both and in the end used the second duvet as a mattress topper, but still had sore hips and a bad back all week!
