"The neighborhood was clean, upscale, and beautifully kept. It came with Candlewood Beach access. The second story suite was gorgeous, clean, and well apportioned. The bed was comfortable. The whole house was well maintained and a wonderful,"homey" feel to it. The Hostess was friendly, cheerful, and very accommodating. The house is on the hillside leading to Lake Candlewood. As can be imagined, the views from the windows were outstanding."

"We were only here for one night on a whirlwind trip but would gladly have stayed a little longer. Cozy, woodsy and comfy. Nice place to relax and recharge! We really appreciated the excellent (real) coffee! No pods here :) Saleem was great - very helpful!"

"The home was perfect and the hosts were super welcoming and warm. House was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Lots of room and character. The location was very quiet and set amongst nature. Highly recommended!"

I Would Stay There Again

"The bed was comfortable. At first, I intended to sleep in the bed closer to the door, but, when I unplugged the alarm clock and plugged in my C-Pap machine, the plug that had worked for the alarm clock did not work for the C-Pap. I called to report this. The technician arrived immediately. He recommended I switch to the other bed and succeeded in getting power to the C-Pap by plugging it in to the plug on the table near that bed. The breakfast buffet was good, but toasting the muffin required too many times through the toaster."
