The Fir - 2 Bedroom Cabin

This beautiful cabin is nestled in the trees of Woodland Hills with a beautiful private outdoor space. She's called The Fir, fondly named after the street Frances Fir Road where it's located. You'll find all the comforts of home away from home. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor TV, fireplace, games, hot tub, grill and multiple places to sit and enjoy.

The Fir is a 2-bedroom 2.5 bath with a pullout couch, comfortably accommodating 6 people. Its 1700 sq.ft. living area is peacefully tucked away on 1.5 acres. The cabin boasts windows in every direction showing off the peaceful surroundings. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs big or small.
The dining table, located near the fireplace and surrounded by windows, seats 4 offering shared meals, conversation or games. The kitchen bar provides seating for the kids or extra guest. You'll find a fully equipped coffee bar for all your brewing needs. Each bedroom has a king size bed, large windows, and private bathroom. The bathrooms feature dual head walk-in shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. In one of the primary suites, you'll be delighted to submerge in the beautiful bathtub with all the luxuries to relax. Each bedroom opens up to the outdoor deck.

Venturing outside might be the favorite part of your cabin stay. The large L-shaped wrapped deck offers 1500 sq. ft. area, 400 of which is covered. You'll find several seating areas, plenty of space to quietly cuddle with a book, engage in conversation, or play our own personalized corn hole game. You'll enjoy swinging on our oversized bed swing or watching TV in front of the beautiful stone fireplace. Or maybe you want to relax in the hot tub while gazing up at the magnificent stars. The Fir also has an area just off the deck with Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. Great place to enjoy s’mores and late-night conversations. NOTE…the fire pit can only be used when there is a no fire ban in place.

The Fir is the perfect getaway with Hochatown only 4.5 miles away! Cabin is located roughly 4 miles southwest of Hochatown Roads.

Roads to the cabins are gravel and suitable for all vehicles. *** If available Trucks / SUVs do the best.

Please remember this is a rural area and occasional loss of internet service happens. In addition, if parts are required for equipment could take longer to get for repairs.

Thanksgiving getaway
My family and I took our in laws to The Fir to celebrate thanksgiving. The cabin is stunning and the ambiance, attention to detail and the decor were outstanding. The surroundings were beautiful, relaxing and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing experience in a quaint environment.

Stop scrolling and book The Fir, such an incredible stay! The cabin is adorable and the views are amazing!! The pictures don’t do it justice!! The owners are very responsive and the cabin is very well stocked! They really have thought of everything! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Weekend at The Fir
My husband and I love coming to Broken Bow for weekend “get-a-ways.” This was our first time staying at The Fir…but it won’t be the last! The cabin was amazing - we felt welcomed from the moment we drove up. The furnishings were beautiful and the cabin is stocked with everything you need (and more) to make your stay easy and relaxing. Our favorite part is the extreme privacy of the lot and that the hot tub is elevated and overlooks a wooded area. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved the property, it’s very well decorated and the size and amenities were perfect for our group of 4. Everything we needed was there. The only thing I’d want people to know ahead of time is that the roads to get there are a bit rough. It was good we came in a truck. Hope to come back again next year!

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the property. It was so beautiful and relaxing. We will definitely stay in this cabin again. We come to the area 2-3 times/year but this is our favorite stay so far. Great place off the beaten path!
The listing is very accurate and a great place to stay! Very nice cabin with all the amenities you will need! The outside seating area was a nice touch as well. Kitchen was stocked with anything you could need to cook with. Beds are very comfortable! Know when renting this cabin that it is a good 5 miles from 259 and the only way in and out is down a gravel road that isn’t particular smooth. We got lucky and didn’t have rain while visiting but if you are there when it rains it could be a little sketchy getting in and out. I wish we would have know this before renting..was worth the drive in though! Your car will be ready for a wash after!

Beautiful Property
Our family of 5 spent New Year’s Eve at this beautiful property and couldn’t have been happier. Not only was the decor stunning, the home was pristine. Lots of extra touches such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each bathroom, cornhole games on the patio, and hot chocolate elevated the stay even more. The owners were so kind and responsive. So happy with our stay and will definitely be back!

Lovely private location
We loved our stay here! We especially enjoyed the outdoor space. Even when it was raining, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the view. Although we could hear neighbors children occasionally, the trees surrounding the property made us feel secluded. Everything was very clean and beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed. When we had questions, our host responded very quickly. We would definitely come here again.

Stunning Cabin in the Woods!
Tucked a few miles out of town, this absolutely pristine cabin captured every detail of charm and relaxation. 'The Fir' theme was tastefully carried throughout the place, even in unexpected touches. Every detail down to the soap containers and the scent inside was on point. The views from huge wraparound porch were perfect. Patio furniture was nice, there was even a swinging bed. Our trip was short, but would definitely book here again.

The most well equipped rental ever
We had an amazing experience renting from Danny & Mary. So beautiful, clean and just wonderful. We enjoyed the seclusion of this rental being higher up into the woods as opposed to the congested rentals in other areas. The thoughtfulness of the host between the amenities, directions for every thing you can imagine, ease of use, well stocked kitchen and even the thoughtfulness of fire wood, kindling sticks, epsom salts, coffee, etc! The beds were incredibly comfortable as well as even the couch! Seriously the VRBO we have ever rented!

An absolute dream!
The property was exactly as described and pictured! Honestly the space was larger in person than appeared in the pictures. Danny and Mary truly thought of everything. Detergent, foil, seasonings, shampoo, conditioner, a high chair, etc. The beds were comfortable and our absolute favorite was the outdoor area with the TV, fire place, large couch and swing. Our first night that fireplace stopped working and when I messaged to see if there was anything we did wrong or could do to fix it Danny had someone there within the hour! Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Fir. The outdoor areas were perfect. Lots of places to curl up with a book or cuddle with your favorite person. Communication was fabulous! Hosts were kind and helpful and even took the time to let us know that more firewood was being delivered. All amenities were appreciated. This host/cabin has thought of everything we could possibly need. Perfectly clean and everything worked as expected or better. I love the layout of the cabin and the sliding doors from each room to the deck area was nice and convenient. The hot tub was fabulous and the extra effort to luxury in the showers is noted. A huge thank you to the host for a fabulous stay!

Birthday Getaway
My husband and I and another couple had a weekend getaway for my birthday. The first thing I noticed as soon as I stepped inside was how good it smelled. I would love to know the secret of what they use. It is a perfect layout for two adult couples to stay. We did have some rain, but the outdoor sitting area was under cover so we could stay outside. The attention to detail with the decor is impeccable. We loved absolutely everything about our stay so much that we didn’t want to leave. The next time we come we have decided we will bring groceries to cook at the cabin so we don’t have to leave for anything. It is so quiet and peaceful and feels like you are alone in the woods.
