Hickory Lodge stay with grandgirls
The cabin was beautiful and clean, had a great location and our granddaughters loved the hot tub, having smores around the firepit and seeing the fireflies at dusk. Our only problem was the outdoor grill stopped working but Justin had a new one there the next day. Communication with owner was great he was very responsive and followed up. I would suggest some new games, outdoor string lights near the firepit, new pillows for beds, and maybe a play structure for kids. Overall we loved the cabin and had a great time! Would book again.

Great Stay
Very clean. Owner was very communicative. There were a Few really minor things like light bulbs out and small stuff like that. But nothing that made the visit any less enjoyable. Great stay!

Beautiful cabin
The cabin itself was beautiful with just enough room for our family of 5. It was in a great location and the kids enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. I would have liked a tv in the bedroom but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

Hickory Lodge Trout Trip
We were a group of 5 retired fishermen. Hickory Lodge is conveniently located right off HWY 259 and a 10 minute drive to fishing on the Mountain Fork river. A number of great places to eat are nearby, as are two breweries. The cabin is very comfortable and has all the appliances and amenities you’ll need to make your stay pleasant.

Wonderful Stay
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Location was perfect and the last night we were there we walked to the Buffalo Grille which was pretty good. The bed in the master bathroom was so comfortable! We slept fantastic! A few minor things that need attention. There were no games anywhere. We looked all over the cabin and couldn’t locate them. We left our games at home because the listing said there were games available. Jandsoap was gone on 2 of the bathrooms and there was none in the kitchen. There was no shampoo or conditioner. I did bring my own but I feel like some small bottles are nice for guests since it’s like a hotel in some regards. We went out and bought counter spray to spray down after we cooked. The fire pit was excellent and the jacuzzi was clean and got nice and warm. Overall we had a wonderful stay here and would encourage others to book trips property! The host did have the cleaning crew bring some laundry soap, paper towels, and extra toilet paper.

Spacious and clean
We had 6 adults staying at the cabin for 5 days. It was very spacious and clean. We used the kitchen to cook a few meals and found all utensils we needed to cook. The hot tub was great even on a hot summer day. :) The fireplace was perfect for smores and hanging out. The beds were comfortable and clean. The master shower was awesome! Even though we were not far from the highway we still felt miles away. Quiet and peaceful area. Very short drive to the state park and local restaurants.

Great cabin for the weekend getaway
My family of 7 stayed at this cabin for 2 nights and 3 days. The listing was very accurate. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped. They had enough towels for my whole family to use for 2 nights. Justin communicated well and the instructions were very clear. The location of the cabin was perfect as well, very close from all the places we visited. Will definitely visit again!

Just perfect!
We loved our stay at this cabin. It was absolutely perfect. The cabin is great, spacious and clean. It has all the things you would need to cook. Well stocked. The bedrooms were great too. Comfortable beds, and the AC worked really well, which was important with this very hot weather. It also had a washer and dryer. The jacuzzi was an added bonus. I also loved the location. The cabin is just south of the south 259A entrance, and south of Hochatown so you miss all the crazy traffic that can happen during the long holiday weekends. It's nearby Buffalo Grill, you can walk there, but far enough no to be impacted by folks dining there. There are some other cabins nearby, but you have enough privacy. The outside firepit and horseshoe game are great. The owners are awesome too. I have stayed in this area for many years, and this has to be one of my favorite cabins and location. We will be staying here again. Highly recommended!

Great responsiveness and service
The property was great! The owners were very responsive from booking through the stay and after. They followed up a lot! It was just the space we needed for a college student leadership retreat. When we first checked in, the cleaning crew had not been there yet, so we reached out to Justin and the apologized, immediately reached out to their crew and it was immediately taken care of and they gave us a $100 credit for the delay. Very accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend them and their property. Thank you!

Beautiful, peaceful retreat
The cabin was as described in the listing. Beautifully devorated and very comfortable. Though it sits among other cabins, there were enough trees between to make it quiet. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the blue jays and redheaded woodpeckers. The hot tub was wonderful! Beavers Bend state park is just around the corner and was beautiful as well! All in all, we would rent this cabin at least once a year!
