"Property as excellent - very clean, spacious and good sized rear garden plus beautiful views of surrounding countryside. Only one negative - the bathroom shower - was very average and not easy to adjust for anyone under 5 feet two. Everything else was spot-on."

"Truly amazing stay. The house was just perfect for me and my pup. Very cosy, warm and spotless! Lovely views. The owners really helpful and discrete. Loved seeing the goats every morning 🐐. I would definitely stay there again! 💞"

"My husband and I stayed with our large dog for a short get away in Dorset. We had a fantastic stay and will absolutely be back. The bed was large and comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything we would need and the living room was very cosy. The hot tub was an added bonus after a long day out walking! "

"This is a lovely cottage, full of character whilst still being comfortable and cosy. The location within the town is perfect. Completely quiet and peaceful but only two minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the main street with its shops, pubs and restaurants. The addition of a car parking space is SO useful....and very rare! Our hosts were delightful. Communicative and available without being in any way intrusive. Altogether, a very good find!"

"Charmouth is a lovely small town and this cottage is the perfect way to experience it. The beach and fossil hunting were our favorite activity. The few shops and restaurantants were lovely...exactly the peaceful holiday I wanted for my family."

"Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport"

"Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Very quiet area and beautiful views from the cottage. The drive down the 1 mile track to the property was a bit daunting at first as I don't like heights. Beware the potholes. Both coast and countryside in the local area is stunning. Beer being our favourite."

The property and house were spacious and comfortable, with more than enough supplies to set a table and serve sixteen family members multiple meals with ease. "Situated in a lovely part of the country this small cottage has fantastic views of the local terrain down to the sea. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, and yet still relatively close to coastal towns such as Bridport and Lyme Regis then this is for you. Accommodating, friendly host."

"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "

"What a wonderful home to stay in. This is just the most cozy, warm, cottage imaginable. It lacks for nothing. The house is on a lovely farm with great walking areas. Pete and Bev are superb hosts, and were happy to offer whatever we might need, while not being at all intrusive. We visit family in Dorset often, and shall definitely hope to stay in this delightful spot again. We cannot think of anything negative to mention!"
