The Space:
Stay on the leafy York Road in Montpelier, thought to be one of the loveliest areas in Bristol. With independent shops, lively pubs, artisan delis and some of the city’s best restaurants all within walking distance, you’re in the perfect spot to enjoy a taste of local life.
Spread across four floors, this spectacular townhouse is cloaked in rich colours and neutral shades to create a space that’s warm and inviting. Character and style come in abundance, with antique furniture, house plants and artwork - it’s trendy yet timeless. The living rooms are beautifully decorated while being cosy, perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring the city. Meanwhile, the lower ground kitchen is the ideal setting for special dinners, where drinks and games go long into the night. Large double doors lead straight out into your Japanese-inspired garden. Both spacious and peaceful, you can expect lush greenery, an outdoor dining area and tranquil corners. Plus, panoramic views over the city to boot.
Four bedrooms are found on the first and second floors, sleeping 8 in total. Decorated in calming, muted tones and kitted out with soft linens and house plants, all have their own distinct feel. All of the three bedrooms on the first floor have king-size beds. They all share a modern family bathroom with a bath and shower. Meanwhile on the top floor, an impressive open-plan master bedroom has some of the best views of Bristol and straight from the super-king bed. The room also benefits from having its own shower and WC.

This beautiful townhouse is tucked away on a quiet street in Montpelier, one of Bristol’s most-loved neighbourhoods. Known for its bohemian vibe, Montpelier feels like a village more than a city suburb. Find vibrant local pubs, incredible restaurants, artisan delis and cafes all a short walk away. Plus, you’re in the prime spot to enjoy all that this vibrant city has to offer, and best yet it’s all reachable by foot!
Stroll alongside the harbour, hopping in and out of art galleries, coffee shops and the renowned M Shed Museum. Or enjoy a bite to eat in the unique Wapping Wharf - this cultural quarter boasts eateries and independent shops all housed in refurbished shipping containers. In summer, there’s nothing better than sitting on the water’s edge and soaking up the lively vibe of this vibrant city.
With so many different neighbourhoods to explore, you can spend days exploring Bristol’s city centre. Wander through Stokes Croft to see colourful graffiti by Bristol-born Banksy, or admire the beautiful Georgian architecture in Clifton. With its charming village feel, this is a place you can just sit and watch the world go by. Getting Around:
The house is located in the quiet suburb of Montpelier, located in the centre of Bristol. You can easily get around the city by foot, plus a local train station has connections to areas such as Redland, Cotham, Clifton and Easton. Bus routes are also easy to pick up from Stokes Croft, as are Voi scooters. For those travelling by public transport, Bristol Temple Meads is only a 10 minute drive away by cab, or you can hop on the local train that takes you directly to Montpelier train station. It's then just a couple minutes walk to the house.
For those driving, there is on-street parking outside the house which requires a permit between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Permits are available for £5/day so please get in touch to arrange this. Equally, there is free unrestricted on-street parking five minutes walk away on Hurlingham Road.
Other Things to Note:
Please note, the property is a four storey townhouse with each level accessed by stairs. It therefore may not be suitable for those with mobility limitations.
