"This cute cottage was clean, comfortable, well stocked and decorated for the season. The hostess went above & beyond to help us settle in & provided food & even some birthday surprises on my birthday! The Greenbelt Trail is nearby & we brought our bicycles, which we were given access to the garage to store them in during our visit. We had an excellent stay here & highly recommend! "

"I am an avid fisherman and the weekend forecast for Lake Holston October 11-13th was awesome - I booked this last minute and could not be happier ! The home is everything you see with an expansive view down the hill from the rear porch to a wooded area. Minutes from Painter Creek Marina. And I am now a Nespresso fan !"

"The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able to wash the dishes or complete some of the other check out procedures due to the circumstances. We are devastated for the community of Damascus as they have suffered catastrophic damage in town. Luckily...

"My wife and I are considering moving to SW Virginia and have spent increasingly more time there. We loved the location of the Blue House as well as the house itself. Tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, open and spacious. Abbey and Ron have done a fantastic job on the house and are gracious hosts. Check in and check out were simpler than any hotel. It made for a perfect launch pad for us to hike several times in the area as well as ride the Creeper Trail. A block off the main street, quiet but...

"The house was nicely decorated. Fairly clean. Kitchen needs a few more pots. Only one there Close to many bike rentals. We did the trail both directions. Once with rented bikes and the other direction with our own bikes. Check your rental bikes closely. One of the bikes had a warped wheel with loose spokes. Damascus is a beautiful taunt town with many friendly people. We had a good time. "

"It was quiet and very peaceful. The deer were out everywhere in the morning and evening. I would recommend for a slower pace of life. Great place to relax and rewind. "

"Eric and his family went above and beyond to accommodate our family. Besides the property being absolutely perfect, they allowed us to check in early due to unforeseen circumstances. The property was centrally located in a safe and quaint location. The house was absolutely gorgeous and really showcased the history of Bristol. The beds and sofa were very comfortable.
