While the hotel is very conveniently situated this means that it is surrounded by quite gritty urban streets - near a river crossing on/off ramp - which did not impact the amnenity of the hotel but may be less apealing to some visitors.

Great place to stay with short but enjoyable walk to the Conference Centre (marred only by the roadworks during my stay). Rooms were exceptional and modern with all relevant facilities and significant space appreciated. Absolutely loved the style and funky functionality of the room. The bed was comfy and the shower very satisfying. Breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. Without asking we received a room upgarade and 2 complimentary drink vouchers for the unique Japanese whiskey bar. The reception staff at check-in and out were amazing, very approachable, friendly and helpful. Parking, although off-site was close and reasonably priced for the CBD. Buffet breakfast was exceptional along with the service staff. I am not an employee of the venue but I do work in the industry. I do expect high standards from any establishment I am staying in, and Hotel Indigo surpassed them all. Great Venue.
