"Lovely stay with excellent staff who were very welcoming and attentive during our one night stay. The accommodation was clean and well presented, although a little tired in places, which was absolutely fine for our stay. The bed was a small double, which was a little soft for my liking, although other reviews say the beds were great, so very much a personal preference. We could only reach the breakfast room by walking across the car-park, which was not pleasant in the February weather, but the wide selection and generous portions of cooked food available for breakfast add to the overall good value for money offered by this hotel. Having smaller appetites, we would have liked to see some bread or toast alongside the jam and butter on the buffet table or at least to see them mentioned on the menu,...

"The Red Lion was a lovely for me and my partner, we had an amazing stay. The staff at the pub were lovely, especially Aviva who was so friendly and helpful in the restaurant. I give four stars only because the price was a little unreasonable for the time of year (mid-November) when many local attractions are closed. Otherwise I could not recommend this place enough for a lovely weekend break. "
