Nice hotel for a one night stopover,friendly staff
"Really helpful staff, especially Gary on reception and Poppy in the restaurant. Rooms are clean but the bathrooms are very tired and in need of a makeover. Bar area very basic but comfy, restaurant can be quite noisy. Food was good. Breakfast was very tasty and hot."

"Overall a good stay. Needs a bit of TLC to the paintwork. Bathroom is quite small but adequate, & bedroom space was small ie bed against the wall. Stayed in deluxe studio apartment it was nice to sit on chairs instead of bed to watch tv. Nice kitchen area if you want to cook something simple. Bed ..."

Burton Agnes Manor House is a free to enter site, maintained by English Heritage. Its construction dates back to Norman times. It's located in the grounds of Burton Agnes Hall, which is privately owned, and can be viewed at a price of £10.50. I haven't been in the hall but it certainly looks the part from outside.
