"We loved our time at stockalpenhof, from the minute we walked in the door we were welcomed by a very friendly lady, who made us feel welcome, showed us the ski/ bike room for our skis and gave us our discount card for the region which we used at the thermal bath in a near by town and the ice cream ..."

As a small city it is a key rail and road hub between Milano, Geneva, Berne and most of the Alps, including Matterhorn and the Gotthard region. While traveling through the Alps it's always worth staying in Brig, it offers basic and necessary amenity.

Quaint little town. We were not here long enough to really enjoy it. Definitely a place we would like to come back to.

Brig was a nice place, it was quite and the people there were friendly. The hotel was 5 min walking away from the station.
