THE SPACE
From the moment you walk into this dreamy vacation home, you will feel swept up in the richness and attention to detail everywhere you look. This means your time for relaxation and visiting with each other will be spent in beautiful surroundings – starting with the Great Room. A popular gathering spot, it’s highlighted by breathtaking views, awesome wood-exposed vaulted ceilings, and an inviting fireplace/flat-screen TV combo. While the wine fridge near the kitchen is locked for the owner's use only, there is an empty wine fridge in the laundry room for your use!
If you or any of your group fancy cooking, standing with a delicious beverage in hand around the center island of the fully equipped Chef’s Kitchen can certainly become a regular pastime. Besides being spacious, sleek, and having all top-of-the-line appliances, it’s well-lit, stocked with the essentials, and, yes, also shares those great views! Another treasured place to mingle, dine, or just chill out is the excellent 3-season room, with plenty of seating and, with three walls of windows, a spectacular vista.
Downstairs, there’s a large, comfortable family room with another flat-screen TV and cushy seating, plus games and beach towels galore. And yes, you guessed it, more lake views.
In each of the 6 super-comfy bedrooms (one is being used as an office but has a daybed), we use only high-quality bedding and linens to ensure a cozy, sound sleep. Additionally, they all have stylish décor, great lighting, and lots of storage space.

Each of the 4.5 bathrooms is beautifully appointed, with high-end styling, fixtures, and accessories. Some have handsome tiled walk-in showers and stone-top vanities.
The outdoor deck has two levels, with tremendous, sweeping views of Lake Michigan and plenty of room to relax, have a drink, or just take in the grandeur of Mother Nature. There’s also lower-level outdoor seating beneath the main deck, with easy access from the downstairs family room. And anytime you want, you and your guests have just a short walk down to the beach to enjoy its crystalline sand, clear waters, and storied shoreline! Plus, you’ll have a stand-up paddleboard available to you. By the way, the Gasthaus Fox property is pet-friendly!
So while you’ll be staying in a fantastic vacation home with your own superb back-door access to Lake Michigan, you’re also near some other excellent beaches – including popular Weko Beach, which connects with Warren Dunes State Park for 3 consecutive miles of beach. There are also a wide variety of cultural activities and restaurants in Bridgman (21 restaurants and 4 breweries within 3 miles, plus Pebblewood Country Club, a distinguished public golf course) or antique shopping and the art district of the Harbor Country town of Harbert, just a short 10-minute drive away. Similarly, since you’re a quick car ride away from New Buffalo, there’s plenty of water-related fun and adventure afforded by the region’s largest recreational harbor – boat, jet-ski, kayak, canoe, and paddleboard rentals, as well as fishing excursions and day and evening cruises – plus all sorts of woodland, lake, and riverside parks with hiking and biking trails galore. The many popular restaurants, galleries, and boutique shops of downtown New Buffalo are just a hop, skip, and a jump away.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to participate in a guest prescreening. All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect you will need to cancel your vacation.
The minimum age to rent this home is 25.
A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party, up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
The driveway can fit 1 car, with an additional space for 3-4 cars in an alternative parking area (45-second walk). Upon arrival, a member of the Juniper team will meet you onsite to explain the parking configuration.
For guests who would like to bring pets, we agree that pets are part of the family and welcome 1 dog here. All pets must be included at the time of booking.
Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
