Great stay with friends

This property was the right size and comfort for 4 friends catching up over a weekend. The basement and pool table are great. The proximity to Harrisonburg is nice.

The house is in a great location. Easy to get to JMU. We went to some caverns, a vineyard, and ate some local food. Just a good rental.

Great weekend getaway

Loved the proximity of the house to local restaurants, grocery stores, and wineries! The house was awesome and a good fit for a big group of friends. Had everything you could think of in terms of kitchen items, games, towels and linens.

Family Reunion in perfect home!

Traveled to see family that live in the area. My second time renting this home and it was perfect yet again! Wonderful kitchen, comfy rooms, beautiful backyard and enjoyed the porch. Will be back!

Great Home away from home for visiting in Bridgewater

We had a great weekend at this house. We were comfortable, and had everything we needed. The house was very convenient to the location of our weekend activities.The neighborhood was quiet and there is penty of room to enjot the house and outdoor areas.

Who knew Bridgewater could be a cycling center?

Great location for cycling on gravel roads in the surrounding hills. Quite like parts of central New York only Warmer! I can recommend this house w/o second thoughts.

Friends vacation

The house was perfect. Clean, comfortable, beautiful and quiet neighborhood, nice backyard. The house is close to downtown Bridgewater so we walked to a lovely coffee shop and had an easy drive to grocery shop. The house has one of the best equipped kitchens (minus a tea kettle) and complete instructions.

Wonderful place.

This home had everything you could think of. Plenty of space, modern, wonderful fenced in back yard. The play set in the back yard, deck/covered porch, games, books, toys, etc made traveling with a 1 and 3 year old very enjoyable. Nice, quiet neighborhood. The owners have done a great job making this home very welcoming.

Perfect home away from home

Stayed two nights at this property while visiting a friend at nearby Bridgewater Home. Location is fantastic. Home was very clean; kitchen is well-equipped. Pocket door between kitchen and hall to bedrooms a nice touch. If you are attending an event at Bridgewater College or visiting at the Bridgewater home, look no further. You can walk easily to both.

Amazing house! Stayed here for a December JMU graduation. Bridgewater is great; very short drive to JMU. House was wonderful for our 3 generations—we used the toys and books; loved relaxing in the living room; even used the outdoor play set. Covered driveway was great for a rainy arrival. House was roomy, spotless, and had everything we could possibly need. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Loved this house—can’t wait to go back!

College Homecoming

Had a wonderful time with college friends for our 40th reunion at your beautiful home. The house had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Towels and sheets provided. Wonderful porch area to sit in and enjoy the fall day. Within walking distance to college. Enjoyed your home last year which motivated us to return again this year.

Fabulous stay in great family home!

This house was a perfect landing spot for our family for a weekend trip to visit our daughter at James Madison University. It was in a quiet rural neighborhood close to area restaurants and shops and away from the busyness of near by Harrisonburg. The home was clean and spacious for our family of 7 with plenty of room to spread out and play games, watch movies, etc…. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the house had all the amenities of home. As a bonus we loved the decor and styling of the home! We would definitely recommend to others traveling to this area and hope to stay again ourselves!

Great Place for Kids!

We had a wonderful time during our stay! The house was actually a lot bigger than we really needed, but we ended up picking it due to the playground out back for our two kids (5 and 3). Traveling can be hard on little ones and we've found it's nice to have a good place to relax and let the kids play for a while. This house was very kid friendly! Not only did they have the playground out back, but there were books and games for all ages. And the house itself was very cozy and well-kept. We were about an hour away from the northern end of Shenandoah National Park and about a half hour from the southern end, so we spent a couple days exploring there. Would have loved to stay longer and explore more of the area, but for what we did, it was a perfect place!

What a wonderful find! Our son graduated from Bridgewater College and we were so pleased to be able to just walk a short distance to the ceremony. Nathan was great to work with and made our check in and check out easy. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

We will definitely be back to this property, the location next to the college is perfect, the home had everything we could have wanted plus more, the kitchen is well equipped and the beds were comfy and they provided lots of linens and towels and bath products. The home is updated and we really enjoyed the decor and comfort! We hope to be back someday soon!
