What can I say that hasn't already been said. We arrived for 2 weeks in the dark to be met by Mobbsie who helped us settle in, what a gentleman, very informative and has a great respect for your privacy, anyway although it was dark you knew from the twinkling lights from the the yachts in Cane Garden Bay that this view was going to be something special. To wake up in a gloriously comfortable king size bed and see the vista spread below you was a sight to behold. You will NEVER get bored with the view.
The cottage is well maintained, Mobbsie is on hand to sort out any problems in a very plesant manner. The flora and fauna around the cottage is beautiful you can even pick your own bananas, oranges and mangoes if in season, can't get fresher than that! The pool is large and cleaned regulary,a great respite from the heat in the afternoons, you will get lazy, like everyone else before us the view just captivates you. The internet connection is fast and the book selection is beginning to grow. There is no tv but plenty of childrens dvd's to amuse kids if needs be, no big problem for most of us!
Definetly hire a 4x4, we used Jerry, who was very accommodating and delivered our jeep direct to the villa. The roads take some getting used to, just take a deep breath, take it slow and let the locals pass.
We used to go to the Sailor's Rest in Cane Garden Bay for afternoon snacks and beer and watch the pelicans and boobie birds diving for fish just yards away, wonderful entertainment.
What wonderful memories we have and we even miss the early morning rooster calls and the night calls of the crickets now that were are home.
Just to say Tina was very helpful and extremely prompt in replying to my e-mails which made booking very easy and seamless. Thank you Tina and Adam for an unforgettable 2 weeks on a beautiful island.
