"My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Manoir de Conjon. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed a generous breakfast of eggs, breads, jams, cheeses, meats, yogurt, and fruits while chatting with other jovial guests, our delightful hostess Isabelle, and the two sweet kitties of the house. "The property is absolutely perfect and was exactly as described. The only hitch was that when we arrived, the driveway gate was locked and when we rang the bell it was some time before it was opened. It turned out neither of the hosts was there, but the husband host’s niece was. She was very nice but it wasn’t clear she was expecting us. We had been told to expect the husband. "This is a beautiful property and our host was great. It is set in beautiful gardens which I wish we’d had more time to enjoy. My main criteria when choosing somewhere to stay is easy parking and a walk in shower. Only issue was that I’d requested a room with a shower as I find a bathtub difficult. "Stunningly quaint and relaxing! Felt like I was at my mom's farm house. This is the best VRBO experience I've ever had. Ségolène and Luis are amazing, attentive and friendly hosts. They have restored everyrhing themsleves - balancing the history of a place built in the late 1790s without making the property too modern or old feeling. Jumbo the dog is a bonis! Really, this place is just special.and friendly hosts."
