"We could not find this property despite speaking with the proprietor on telephone several times. We gave up and returned to our home in Le Dorat on Wed night. We will not book this type of accommodation ever again. You will need a fully functioning Sat Nav to have any hope of finding this property."

It was in fact the owners home and we shared the facilities with her and her family. Not for us , we ate in the very small bedroom where the drawers and the wardrobe were full of the owner’s possessions, socks jumpers suitcases etc. not much space for our stuff. Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. "The cottage was a lovely place to stay. The property was very quiet and presented exactly as the listing described. We had everything we required and everything was clean and tidy. The pool area was lovely. There wasnt really anything in the village but the nearest town was only 10 or so minutes away. There was a supermarket and petrol station and a market.
