The cottage was spacious, very well equipped and comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and very accommodating and informative about places to visit (though only in French. However, there is an English couple who live nearby who can translate for English speakers). As my English phone did not work at first, we spent an anxious few minutes after arrival as check-in had to be by phone call. VRBO answered my call, but my phone cut off. Finally we were able to contact our host using my wife's mobile, much to our relief. Thereafter everything went well.

Very comfortable gite in peaceful location
The property is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very spacious. It is well-equipped and having two bathrooms was particularly useful. There is a small terrace with outdoor table and chairs. The nearest town is Huelgoat (10 mins drive) where there is a supermarket, bakery and other shops. The hosts Gi and Jacques are very friendly and acccommodating and living next door to the property, they are always on hand should there be a problem. We very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this gite to others looking to spend time in a central location in Brittany. We would certainly return in the future.

Amazing really spacious property, loveliest hosts, beautiful peaceful location
The cottage itself is ideal for a family with a super large open plan kitchen diner and living room, two lovely bedrooms, two bathrooms (both a bath and a shower). Spotlessly clean, really well looked after, just a lovely place to stay. It wasn't a warm week weather wise given it was late October, but the underfloor heating and fire were brilliant so it was always warm and cosy, it would be just as lovely in the winter. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, and really generous too in baking us a cake and giving us some home grown produce- so thoughtful. They live just next door so always there if you need anything but not in your face. The nearest small town is just over a 10 minute drive, and it's a really beautiful place with a large lake and lovely old buildings and a few shops. Plenty of other places to visit, countryside walks, fishing etc. What a wonderful holiday.

Brennilis Gite

Très bon séjour!
Merci pour l'accueil et la réactivité des propriétaires. Le gîte est très bien équipé et idéalement situé, ce qui m'a permis de profiter pleinement de mon séjour (balades, photos) dans une magnifique région. Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique !
Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par nos hôtes qui avaient même préparé un délicieux gâteau Far Breton et une bouteille de cidre local pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue. Le gîte était impeccablement propre, très spacieux et bien équipé, ce qui a rendu notre séjour extrêmement confortable. L'emplacement est idéal : un environnement calme et paisible, tout en étant stratégiquement situé au milieu de la région. Cela nous a permis de visiter de nombreux sites et attractions dans un rayon de 40 minutes à 1h30 en voiture. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte à quiconque souhaite explorer la Bretagne tout en ayant un endroit agréable et tranquille où séjourner. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur hospitalité et leur attention aux détails qui ont rendu notre séjour si spécial.

Pluvieux mais heureux
Nous avons pu découvrir un hameau calme et apaisant après avoir reçu un excellent acceuil de Jacques et Gi. L'occasion également de découvrir le Finistère sous une météo typiquement bretonne (alternance nuages et éclaircies). A faire ou à refaire. Le gîte est très spacieux et idéal pour une petite famille agrémenté d'une belle décoration bleutée.
