"Overall this is a beautiful house and garden in a fabulous location close to a natural park (great for bird watching) and La Barrosa beach...both within walking or safe cycling distance. Loads of great cafes and restaurants. Some amenities in the house need attention eg new toaster required, unable to use jacuzzi bath, BbQs need attention. However issues were addressed promptly when we raised these with Paco and Julia and we would all love to come back next year if the property is available."

Yet, if you want to be more active, you can go down to the beach to swim, surf and go for a long walk. The house guest provide you with a throughout book of activities to do in the area. "Best villa we have ever booked absolutely spectacular. Couldn't get the kids out of the pool its massive. The villa surrounded by a high wall given a totally secluded environment. Close to shops, 7mins to a fantastic beach which goes on for miles. Our hosts were absolutely fantastic nothing was any trouble. If your thinking of this area you Couldn't go wrong booking here we cant recommend it highly enough. We will be back. "

We had dinner every night outside and watched the best sunsets I have ever seen. The beach is short 10 minute walk and the town is just 10-15 minutes by car. We did day trips to Seville, Malaga, Ronda and Gibraltar."

"Our family stayed for a week and had a fantastic time. The day we arrived the housekeeper stayed to let us in, as we were late. She brought her grandson to translate as we spoke very little Spanish. Everything was very clean! We enjoyed the beautiful pool everyday, as it was very hot!! We also played billiards and had a lot of fun. We cooked 3 dinners with ease, as there were plenty of pots (and the BBQ), many dishes and glasses, two big cutting boards, and sharp knives! Not every VRBO comes so...

"Having had excellent communication from the hotel prior to our arrival, we were greeted by a lovely lady who went over everything efficiently and with thought. The room was gorgeous and the air conditioning extremely quiet. The roof terrace was fab too. Everything was sooooo clean and new. Loved having the kettle downstairs and access to tea, coffee etc as well as fruit. We walked into the town for an evening meal and the following morning down to the beautiful beach. Wish we had stayed longer. We were offered secure parking for a small charge but managed to get free parking one of the surrounding roads. A lovely place to stay and a beautiful town with much character to visit. "

"Our stay for close to 1 week was very good . Nice , comfortable and clean rooms , quite , nice view to the golf course , excellent breakfast , nice and helpful staff , nice pool and good location . Fitness needs some overhaul . Parking is available but might be a problem in the high season . Overall very pleasant . We’ll be back "
