The "Resting Eagle Beach House" is a waterfront escape with saltwater beach access steps away from the deck and boasts stunning water views of Dyes Inlet. Explore the beach at low tide and relax in deck chairs at high tide as you appreciate the beauty of the bay. A fir tree on this property cradles an active eagle's nest! The name is a tribute to these resident eagles.
Bask in the beauty of sunrise and sunset and experience the sounds of Reveille and Taps daily as you watch the American flag being raised and lowered across the bay at a Naval building. On a clear day, a peek-a-boo view of Mount Rainier can be seen. Wildlife sighting is of course not guaranteed, but is spotted often at this special escape. Sea otters, Canadian geese, harbor seals, orca whales, and bald eagles are in this area. It's not uncommon to see two eagles in the nest or perching on the tops of the trees on this property.
This vacation getaway is equipped with a propane barbecue, a swing set for kids, and a firepit. This retreat is close to town but feels like a vacation escape.
