The situation of the property is perfect with visiting other villages. And its a beautiful cottage, home from home, beautifully clean and a very comfortable bed. The owners went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The whole family are truly lovely hosts.
We had the middle cottage and thought the back garden was shared but it belonged to the end courage, and were politely informed when we sat in it. Our information booklet said we could use the ginormous hot tub but we were told sorry that's out of date. It was the end cottage that had it all, although they didn't use the garden for long and didn't touch the hot tub so there is no back garden just reycling bins, so echo friendly. If I had a magic wand I would magic away the huge shed they need for farming use as it blocks the views for the 2 little cottages. The owners did however, immediately provide us with outdoor space with a table and chairs out the front which was very kind of them. They gave us a space on the grass which was very pleasant so we had a cream tea. Unfortunately our blind dog kept walking from the grass onto the courtyard where our cars were parked and bumping into them.
It is a working sheep farm. Which I didn't realise, they work extremely hard and well what would we do without them but if you're sensitive, the taking the lambs to Market is heartbreaking.
So mixed feelings as I think I wanted a view but defintely a lovely cottage to return to each day, very comfortable.
