Communication could have been better
We had an issue during our stay and was getting conflicting information from the property manager and the front desk. I needed to speak with the property manager to get it figured out. There was no direct phone number to contact the property manager so i sent them a message within the VRBO system asking for a phone call. All i got was a text reply with the same information the gave me before. For tjis reason, I will not book another rental with this property manager.

The condo was poorly maintained. Carpet and upholstery had black smudges everywhere. Towel rack was ripped off and had been repaired with spackling but not painted. The heat in the unit did not work. Ended up moving to another condo that was great.

Great Location for Spring Trip
The property is right at the base of Peak 9 with immediate access to the slopes. There is storage for skis, boards and equipment steps away from the lifts. We had an amazing view of the slopes from our balcony and master bedroom. We had a great trip and met a lot of friendly people on vacation enjoying the mountain and all that Breckenridge has to offer.

Fantastic experience!
Seriously, the best location! Right near the Beaver Run lift and ski school areas. Unit itself was spacious with two floors. It was a bit dated, but very clean. The Beaver Run property is very well run, with easy check-in process, free ski lockers and a free shuttle to downtown. Communication with Leavetown was always prompt and helpful. From what I understand, they have several units in multiple buildings, so the listing photos aren’t exact (though close). Overall, had a great experience!

Fantastic location, great staff, and a little "ok."
I haven't skied Breck in 25 years. Returning with kids, I loved being able to feed 'em and walk them over to ski school, get dressed myself and still be on the mountain before 9! Negatives: locker keys did not work, so we had to carry equipment to and from room each day. (No Biggie to us, though). Also, only one working elevator for staff and guests... Our unit was just fine. Furniture was a little dated. The fireplace was great (and you can call for more wood anytime). Beds were comfortable. For our family of 4, the 2 bathrooms and 2 beds in second room was perfect. Check in was seamless. Jacuzzis were crowded at "happy hour" if that's your thing. But by dinner time, empty. Also, I saw them cleaned at least daily, and the water was clear. The shuttle saved us from parking issues downtown, that was great. The staff is from all over and so friendly and helpful. Worked great for our family trip. If I was skiing with my "girls" though, this place is a little "ok." Overall, we ad a blast and I would stay here with the fam again!

Poorly Maintained. Needs updating!
Resort itself if decent. Great location for being next to the lifts. As we entered the unit at check-in, there was a cold drift in the room. Taken away by the view, we then noticed later the slider door was slightly Ajar. It wouldn’t shut all the way and the downstairs area was always cold. The room couldn’t get warm enough and with no barrier for the fire place, we didn’t want to use it with the little ones around. The floors needed to be cleaned. The living room rug had a lot of debris that it didn’t look like it was ever vacuumed. The downstairs was not roomy enough. It said it would sleep 8. But with 8 adults, that would’ve been extra tight. There was a dresser under the living room TV that could be removed for more space to sit at the dining table. I get that its for the sofa sleeper, but the dresser was just too bulky for the room. Stove was barely operable. The coils were so crooked and we finally got 2 to work, but everything cooked unevenly. There were broken glass and food scraps still in the dishwasher. It was disgusting, so we hand washed everything. Cooking utensils are so bare and some rusted to the point that it should be tossed. The fridge was too cold that it froze our 2 gallon jug of water and the kids juice boxes. After adjusting the temp to the warmer setting, it seemed it was still too cold. The floor board heaters in the 2 bed room was broken that it posed a hazard with the heater coils exposed. We found rubbish under the beds and a vodka bottle behind the armoire in the room. Looked like it was there to keep it from tilting back? Bathrooms were clean and beds were comfortable. With no daily housekeeping services offered, I wish there was a broom in the unit. With kids, there will be crumbs. It would be convenient to have a small broom for guests to use without calling front desk every minute. Overall, I was disappointed with the price we paid plus cleaning fee. This unit is in need of some updating and better cleaning. I understand staffing is difficult at this time, but the lack of maintenance is something that needs to be addressed. I am sad that this is the review I must leave, but I hope this helps the owner correct the issues they need to fix.

Convenient
The property is convenient to the Beaver Run loft, so that is great. Inside the resort, there is plenty to do. This unit was okay, but not the greatest. There was old food and crumbs on the kitchen floor under the edge of the cabinets and the stairway had a collection of dust and human hairs. The unit was cold during the day and exceptionally and uncomfortably hot at night, with all the thermostats set on 68. Also, while most places in ski towns have washer/dryer, this unit does not and you have to use the pay laundromat for the building.

It was good enough
The resort is huge, in a great location on Peak 9 with 4 bars & restaurants, ski shop and ski rental, spa and pool and hot tub onsite. They have free vans that shuttle people to town ( 15-25 min walk depending on where you are going) Maid service came every other day. However, the resort was built in the 70's and is dated but they have kept it up pretty well. The halls and condos have old windows that leak air and it is a little chilly running around the resort in January. I would give it a 3 ½ star rating. P.S. The picture is a top floor (8TH floor) unit. We had a 4th floor unit that was not quite as nice but still fine for our purposes.
