This is a great condo in a great location: You’re just minutes from the Peak 8 base area and Historic Downtown Breckenridge on the free shuttle route. You’ll also enjoy the updated floors, granite counters, and shared hot tub access. Your family and friends will love it … you will too!

This two-bedroom, two-bathroom deluxe condo is set up to host six guests comfortably; it’s also great for two couples to share! There’s a fully equipped kitchen that overlooks the living space. The flat-screen TV with complimentary cable is perfect for catching the game or watching your favorite shows. There’s also a patio off the living area for kicking back after a big day on the slopes or letting the mountain breeze flow through the condo.

It was close to the bus shuttle to the top of the mountain and town. We did rent a car but you really could use the shuttle to get anywhere. The accommodation was good too. Smaller than I thought but was fine for the 4 of us.

The kitchen is great, fireplace lovely and beds comfortable. However, the windows are in great need of an upgrade. Being right next to Ski Hill Rd, there is a lot of traffic and even with the windows closed the noise comes through as if you’re in a tent. The shuttle bus is particularly loud and runs from 6 am to 10 pm.

The living room area was very open and that was nice. Lots of light and it was very livable. Overall the unit feels like it needs some attention though. The windows are weathered, the back bedroom window won't close and is drafty. The cranks for the windows are replacement and don't quite fit right. Lots of road noise too, it's located right where the buses servicing Peak 8 downshift to slow down. I understand there's nothing that can be done about that, but we would have booked a little more off the beaten path if we were aware.

Reviewer Comments: Would not stay there again; price not worthy of the unit, definitely not what I would consider “luxury”, location was fair, not great. Bathroom showers were really small and I am not a big person. Neighbors making noise after 11pm was an issue (loud music and yelling). Right next to ski hill road with consistent road noise; temp of unit was really hot at night. Overall disappointed with unit and price paid because of busy weekend.

Condo looked great in pics but was not clean and had a bad odor, which we tried to alleviate by opening windows but the bus noise was so loud as this condo is located right on the road. Found an empty wine bottle under master bed..and floors were dirty in Living. Kitchen was well-stocked.

Gold Camp Refresh
The condo complex itself is older, but this unit seems recently refreshed. We stayed a week. The large living room and kitchen space were great to hang out in after a day of skiing and were nicely finished. The kitchen had one of everything you would need for food prep. The bedrooms and baths are small but fine for us since most of our time was spent on the ski hill. Two things to note are the hot tubes are in different buildings so be ready for the walk outside and up the parking lot to units G/H. The only other downside was the proximity to the road. Great to catch the local shuttle to the hill but it also means road noise early in the day as workers arrived for the day.

Good Location, Property Could Use An Upgrade
House was in a convenient location, near both the town and ski slopes. Property was as described, but a few things to note: - Shared hot tubs are indoor and about 5 buildings away. Can be very crowded given 4 hot tubs for 10+ buildings - Property is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so lugging items up and down the stairs is not ideal (coolers, boots, food, etc.) - Beds are EXTREMELY uncomfortable outside of the top bunk and one of our guests had such bad back pain from sleeping there we had to take a day off skiing - Bathrooms are not "private" as indicated in the listing, they are placed directly next to each other in the hallway Overall, this was a bit pricey for the accommodations, but it was a holiday weekend. I would stay again, but property managers should consider making some minor upgrades.

Great location, great stay!
This rental property management company used text messaging to communicate which was really convenient. The rental instructions that were easy to follow. Check-in and check-out procedures were a breeze. I had an excellent time at this property. The rental was clean and well-stocked. We did not have to buy any additional supplies for the 4 of us during our quick weekend trip. It was excellent stay all around! It's a 10-minute snowboard boot hike to Breck at Peak 8 when you don't want to wait for the bus and a 6-minute drive (outside of traffic times) to the town. Would definitely book here again.

Great little place
The property was great for our mountain vacation with plenty of room. It is located close to the shuttle pick up/drop off locations; however, we found the bus to be hard to predict. The property is located on the hill headed towards peak 8. It is a beautiful and easy walk down the hill into town (1/2 mile). There is no washer/dryer in the unit. There is coin laundry in the condo development if desired. Be sure to turn shower knob all the way to hot (and past the red color) to ensure a warm/hot shower. The only thing that would have made the stay easier is if there were the keypad lock on the door. Currently, you have to go to the office to pick up keys and then drop them off back at the office when checking out. Since we flew to Colorado and decided to take the shuttle to and from the airport, this made checking in and out a little more difficult to coordinate. With a key pad lock (as seen on most of the other condos in that building), the check in/out process could be done at the location of the stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this condo for anyone wanting to stay in Breckenridge and wants to be close to everything, but not in the middle of town or right on the slopes.
