Outstanding house, superb host!
This property had everything we could have possibly wanted for our trip out west. Ample number of bedrooms, immaculately maintained. But perhaps the best part was how attentive our host, Jane was to our every need. She went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience from check-in to check-out! There was even a hot meal awaiting us when we walked into the kitchen on our first day! Many thanks, Jane. We are already talking about returning this winter/spring for a Breckenridge ski trip.....

Amazing home for our large group
Jane’s Timber Lodge was an incredible place to call home for the week for our group of 16. The ski in/ski out was perfection and truly made our ski trip as easy and enjoyable as possible. With 10 adults and 6 young kids, there was plenty of rooms, beds, space to play. The amenities were over the top even with a warm meal awaiting our arrival the first day. We are already looking into dates to come back!

Timbers Lodge is amazing
Ski vacation was amazing here. Lots of space for everyone, plenty of bathrooms, place for ski stuff, ski in and out, but the icing on the cake is a property manager that cares and is prompt to tend to anything. It was a great experience for our group from start to finish.

This home was perfect for our family of 13. There was plenty of space for everyone to spend time together yet enough for everyone to have their own space. We would certainly use this home as a base for another week long stay in Breckenridge.

Great stay, excellent host, right next to the mountain
Highly recommended. Jane is an excellent host, the house is as-advertised and the location near the mountain cannot be beat. This house is especially well suited for large groups as there are a variety of bedroom configurations and ample common spaces to be together, a little bit together, or some quiet time alone. We had three families all with small kids, and the ease of getting to Peak 8 lifts and ski school was a major value of this house.

PERFECTION!
We have stayed at several large ski homes all over the US and this was by far the best! Perfect layout for a large group, super easy to ski-in/out, clean and well stocked. Working with Jane was great and everyone in the group said they want to go back to Breckenridge just so they can stay in the house again.

Gorgeous home. Perfect location for ski in, ski out. Large home to accommodate multiple families with ability to spread out. Owner available for any issues. Big kitchen with all essentials, including two dishwashers. Lots of seating space. Lots of nice bathrooms & soft towels. Pillows could be better tho. We had one of the best vacations ever.

Lovely home and plenty of room!
This home has so much going for it, ski in/ski out, proximity to town and other things to do and a lovely view from the master bedroom! It was quite comfy and charming and I would definitely stay again! If you aren't from Colorado, get to Denver a few days early and acclimate if possible. The altitude did leave a few of the family challenged.

Exceptional weekend stay
The house was absolutely beautiful with plenty of space for 5 different adult couples including two families of 7 kids. We loved how everything was spread out and had a large office space if one wanted to get away to work or just read a book. The hospitality was very special as homemade potato soup, croissants and pastries awaited us on our arrival and she was there early morning to shovel the snow. Incredible memories with my family and parents who are in their 80’s.

Summer in Breck
Our large family (18 total) need a large place to house all of us for our annual get togethers. This house fit the bill. The owner/property manager couldn’t have been easier or more accommodating to work with. The house was fully stocked with towels supplies dishes, baby items etc. The upstairs is a little confusing as 2 staircases for an upstairs that doesn’t connect but not a real problem. The basement level was a little musty which may be due to carpet. Hot tub was great for our group along with 2 bbq grills. The documentation for things to do and welcome soup from owner made us feel very welcome. We had an amazing time.

Spring Break family ski
Our family of 17 with 10 adults and 7 kids stayed here over spring break. It was perfect. Clean, roomy, enough bed rooms and baths to accommodate us easily. Well stocked kitchen. 2 large dining room tables were great for all of us and there was also a kitchen bar and table. Truly ski in and ski out. Plenty of lounging space for us all.We made a mistake in departure date and Jane went above and beyond to help. . PERFECT

Exactly what we needed
This house was perfect for our family vacation. All seventeen of us fit nicely in this house. Lots of sleeping options and bathrooms. Jane was so attentive and quick to respond to anything! Loved the location. I would highly recommend. Just as an FYI, the only thing I would mention is that there isn’t much of a view (but the trees around the house do help with privacy!) and no air conditioning (not that many in this area have that…). It cooled off in the evenings enough, but was a bit warm our first night.

50th Wedding Anniversary
My wife and I rented this property to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our four children and their families. This house was an excellent choice. The house was very well stocked with towels, linens, soaps, shampoos, paper products etc. The kitchen was very well equipped Including four crockpots and three coffee makers. There was more than ample seating at three large dining tables. Close proximity to Peak 8 Basecamp and the gondola made entertaining the group easy. Jane went out of her way to tend to our every need and was quick to respond to our questions. All in all, we had a great time.

Great house for our large family reunion!
We stayed at The Timbers for family reunion - 22 people ranging from 3 to 80 - and it was just perfect! It's a beautiful house with big windows all around. All of the accommodations were comfortable & there were plenty of bathrooms. Two huge dining tables let everyone eat together all at once. And the big green lawn was awesome for bocce ball/ladder golf/other lawn games. Plus everyone loved the hot tub of course! Jane & Tom were great & very responsive to our inquiries. And the pot of DELICIOUS thai curry waiting when we arrived was a wonderful welcome; it let us get in & settled to the house without having to take the time to prepare a meal for hungry arriving travelers. The proximity to the Peak 8 fun park was awesome for a kids fun day. And everyone got a kick out of taking the gondola to/from main street in Breck. Everyone in our group loved the place & ranked it as one of our best reunion accommodations ever! Highly recommended!

Fantastic Ski In Ski Out
What a great house for skiing with a large group! We had 18 people in our group - 10 adults and 8 teenagers (youngest 15 years). A few of the nights we had 5 or 6 more over for dinner and the house fit everyone with room to spare. Ski In Ski Out is legit. Ski Out - click your skis on at the hot tub, make your way through a few trees (easy) and you can ski all the way to the Peak 9 lifts. Ski In - 4 O'clock to Trygve's and back through the trees (easy) to the hot tub! Mud room with heated floors is a huge bonus. Hot tub and pool were highly utilized. Grocery and liquor stores convenient 10 minute drive from the house and Safeway and Walmart are short drive to Frisco. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment for dinner prep each night including electric griddles for a legendary homemade crepe dessert night (I know that's cheating for crepes but there were alot of crepes to make). Two refrigerators for storing our daily trips to the store. One giant dining room table with two other kitchen tables for overflow. Plenty of beds. And Jane Hamilton is awesome! She provided a ton of info on the house and Breckenridge before we got there. And then she had warm Thai Chicken soup in a crock pot waiting for us when we arrived. Teenagers also loved the large bowl of chocolates. Great house that will be our house of choice when we decide to ski at Breckenridge again!
