My family and my sister's family stayed at this condo (both the studio and the one bedroom) over New Years. We had a fantastic time. The condo is well stocked and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. Pillows, sheets and blankets are good. The property is very conveniently located near the base of Peak 9. You can easily ski almost to the lift (just have to take skis off to cross the parking lot - we went out from behind building 5 and 6). To ski in we went off of snowflake and must have missed the sign, bc we had to walk up hill, the second day we came in from lower sawmill, much easier. We stored our ski's and helmets in the basement lockers (heated). Maybe if you can store them over by Christie Sports it would be easier, but we only skied 2 days, so didn't waste time figuring everything out. My husband and I walked into town 2 mornings. Nice walk down, maybe 7 minutes? We walked once at night (not a lot of street lights, but doable). The shuttle worked out great. We used it twice to get back to the property from downtown and once to go into town. The hotel pools/hot tubs are great! Make sure to go to the spa to get a robe for your stay. I would definitely recommend a stay at this condo and property. Dorothy was great to work with, I was nervous that we weren't booking directly though VRBO, but there is no need to worry. You get a confirmation directly from Grand Timbers.
