Stop over
We stayed in the Wilton on a stop over after our honeymoon. We stayed for one night to visit my grandmother. The hotel let us check in three hours early which was great after travelling for 16+ hours from South Africa.

One night stop.
Hotel nice and clean. Room seemed stuffy, could do with a good airing. Big disappointment was the breakfast. Looked lovely but was cold. Was staying only for one night and location was perfect for me.

Great Breakfast!
You would probably need a car to get to this hotel. Busses from the Dart station don't go very often. A taxi is about €8. We walked back down to town and back up to the hotel and also walked back to the Dart station the next day it's do-able but a bit of a hike.
The room was quiet however very warm for some reason. I didn't mind that but my partner was too hot even though we had the window open.
Tiny bath tub and only 3 TV stations, but the whole room very clean and we weren't there to watch TV anyway
free wifi
the breakfast was gorgeous one of the best ones I've had in Irish hotels.
The staff were lovely.
we really enjoyed this hotel

Avoid this hotel at all cost!
I had to get my room changed 2 times. I first found a bandage stuck to the inside of my bedding and then the second room had bodily fluid stains on the pillow case. The last room had clean bedding but the room was falling apart. The wall had a very large hole in it that they covered up with a sheet of wall paper that was bubbling out. The carpet was all loose and wrinkling up. The ceiling and wall had parts of the paint missing. The bed had one of the nightstand lamps missing and the one that was still there was broken and falling apart. This lovely lamp tripped the breaker to the room and we lost all power until we called the desk. They turned it back on but they never came to fix the lamp like they said they would. The balcony had cobwebs and loose wiring hanging down off the wall. The bathroom was very dark. The toilet took 11 minutes between flushes to refill enough to flush it again. We had to use the toilet off the downstairs hallway. The courtyard was filled with trash. and the smoking area was locked so they propped the back door open and let people throw their cigarette butts into a large pile of leaves sitting right in front of that door. This made for a large fire hazard and having the door open all night reduced security considerably. Avoid this place at all cost!!!!!!

comfortable accomodation
Nice hotel a little out of the way from the town of Bray.
Could be better signposted which would make it easier to find.
Sat Nav gave the hotel an older name on the same road which I used to find it.
Staff were very helpful and courteous.
Food was very good and room was comfortable.
Used this hotel as base for visiting family in this area.

Great country hotel
Jessica was beyond helpful. This hotel is located right across the street from Killruddery House, was a 25 minute walk from the town centre, or the ocean side boardwalk. Great buffet breakfast, & although there were several tour groups while we were there, the hotel handled them very well. Would stay again.

Great breakfast included in the price
The Wilton hotel is very conveniently located with the m50 highway to Dublin close by. There is a view of the Wicklow mountains outside. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly, there is free parking and wifi also. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and comes with the room. It has a small bar and a restaurant and although I didn't eat in the restaurant my family did and said it was very good.
The beds are hard and the inside view is of a courtyard with a non functioning fountain is a little miserable and could use some updating.
I would recommend this hotel as a great location from which to explore beautiful Wicklow.

A 2 night stay in June 2013
Very good.. Large room with a comfortable bed and ensuite bath and shower. We also liked the wide choice of food available for breakfast, the omly disappointment being the hard boiled eggs which might have been left in water for too long as the egg whites had turned mushy and were inedible. The evening meals were good as well, as was the Guinness.

Nice quiet getaway
The hotel was great. When we arrived, there were extensive works underway on the road as you drive into the hotel and when we asked to be relocated away from them it was no problem at all. The room (double) was comfortable and there was never anyone trying to get in to clean the room too early (so a sleep in was nice). Breakfast (buffet) was excellent - great choice, plenty of it and staff were attentive when we asked for anything. Also, you could arrive a few minutes late for breakfast and not feel rushed to finish up. We ate one night in the hotel and it was great also (presentation was different than I expected - food came out to each of us on a piece of wood...). There were very few negatives. Not all of the TV stations were tuned in and there was no option to change this. If parked towards the back of the hotel and it was raining you have a bit of a run to reception.
The staff were great and seemed genuinely happy and willing to help not morbidly depressed as in some hotels and it made all the difference.
lovely place to stay 10 minutes or so to BRAY town and nice sea side
My stay at the hotel was lovely good staff nice room and lovely breakfast and great staff if you need something would stay there again for those who like to get from the hotel the local bus is 45A And 184 also Greystones is another place close by and lovely sea views so please do try this lovely hotel and yes there was a party of lovely americans who stayed there and they loved the area so thanks for reading my review.
we had good time staying in this hotel. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean and nicely made.
suggestions- May be provided with the pitcher of drainking water.

fantastic, just a few small things
The hotel was GREAT! And I loved the location, staying outside of the city gave us a chance to see some wonderful countryside. The only problem we really had was that our room door was too small for the door frame. That allowed light in from ALL around the door. Other than that, the staff was WONDERFUL, and I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends!!
