"This is our 2nd visit to Lucille’s paradise. It is a lovely, peaceful spot with mesmerizing views of the Seine, where boats travel up and down the river. We spent most of our time on the back grassy lawn, watching the river and reading our books. The house is lovely and very interesting. It has all the comforts of modern living but the house has maintained the very old and large beams in the ceiling and the very old and ornate wood doors. "Our host Elisabeth was most gracious as we arrived in the dark of night and she could not have made our accomodations more warm and welcoming. This home is a gem, and having this as a home base in Normandy was a wonderful experience. I can imagine that stayingwould make i a 6-star+"

"I loved this Gite , it had traditional parts with exposed beams , all the bathrooms were nice and modern with fantastic showers. I loved the glitter paint in the master bedroom. The garden was gorgeous and so peaceful. The Gite was very central close to the river, bar and restaurants, the supermarket was an 8 minute walk away around the corner. There was a lovely walk up the hill to Chateau Gillard with amazing views. Also central to were we wanted to vist . We loved it."
