"Lovely old building room was dated but clean lovely location "

"Staff very helpful and friendly. Good filling classic breakfast with help yourself tea/coffee/toast/jam. There are food outlets/shops (in surrounding retail area, McDonald’s (5 min walk), m & s, Costa, KFC, and Tesco) if you decide to get takeaway and bring back to your room. Note: room only serviced every 3rd day of your stay, unless you request otherwise.. Slept well in comfortable bed, slight noise from people in corridor or from car park (where our room faced), but acceptable. Area well lit up between accommodation building and restaurant/bar building. No phones in room, use your own if needing to get through to reception or online to book meal/bfast in restaurant. It wasn’t very busy breakfast time during our stay and got quick friendly service. We stayed two nights and would stay again. "

"Beautiful hotel with so much history and the staff are very welcoming, they were always happy to help. There cooked breakfast was great and cooked to your preference. Our room was noisy however we have addressed this with the hotel who welcomed our feedback "
