great family choice
We were 3 generations and there was plenty of room for the 10 of us. I was worried that a river location would not be suitable for all ages, but it was perfect. The river was very calm and very private. While they provided paddle boards, we also rented kayaks. Everyone swam and fished off the dock. Our only complaint was the uneven temperatures in the house. While the 1st floor got cold, and the 2nd floor was adequately cool, the 3rd floor was very hot. I would recommend this house for a wonderful summer vacation.

Brant Lake
The house is very nice and as described. More than enough room for 10 adults. Parking was not an issue at all, and we had 4 cars and a boat trailer. We were disappointed about the property. The house is NOT waterfront. The property is riverfront, but there is a bit of a walk through the woods to get to it which is not handicap accessible. When we were visiting, the water was very high and was not safe to swim in due to increased currents which is obviously out of everyone’s control. We brought a boat that we were thinking we would be able to dock at the house, however we were not able to do that. We docked at Brant Lake about a 5 min drive away. However, it was very expensive. Do your research before hand if you plan to bring your own boat. Also, bring your bug spray! The mosquitos were unbearable at times. When we arrived, I was surprised to find that we were responsible for not only bringing our garbage to the local dump but also paying to dispose of it (heads up, it’s cash only). We had a similar issue as a previous review as the permit we needed to dispose of it was missing. However the property managers told us they would handle it which ended up working out nicely for us. There was an issue with the cable on the main living room TV. The property manager told me that someone be there to fix it either “that day or the next.” However, no one ever came. This wasn’t a huge issue for us, so we didn’t pursue it further, but something to be aware of.

Nice cozy stay!
Property super clean and tons of space for three families, to get along and also be separate when needed. Well stocked kitchen. Bring paper towels and extra dishwasher pods if staying more than a few days with a large crowd. Lots of bugs, bring spray. Walk to river was as advertised- our 70yo in laws didn’t like the walk, especially after rains, which we had a lot of. River view was beautiful down there with good seating- adk chairs and a bench/table, and a nice dock to sit out on. Given rains- the first part of the dock was underwater so you had to jump to get to it. Bees nest under hot tub platform (to the left of it, when facing it with house to your back- most didn’t mind, but one person in our party allergic and didn’t like it at all. Personally, I wish I had a river/lake view from the house - especially on a rainy day, probably because we had so many rainy days during our stay. But we’re destroying the planet and that’s what we get.

Making Memories
Facilities were excellent. Beds were very comfortable and house was very clean and orderly. Customer service person was very polite and took information about missing trash permit and other issues however NO FOLLOW UP! Wasn’t able to dispose of trash as requested and therefore had to take it with us for the RIDE HOME! Needless to say there was a car full of unhappy people on the ride home.

We were all very pleased and fell in love with the inside of the Lodge. The outside grill was in the back of the house where it would of been better in the front where the table and chairs where. Also, unfortunately we didn't use the hot tub as it was not cleaned very well. Will we come back again, most certainly!!!

Super comfy home.
This very roomy house really feels like home as soon as you enter. It is very clean. Rustic enough with the woodsy camping feel with all the modernizations in the right places ie; kitchen and bath. We did not include our kids in this get away, but it would be a great place for a few families. There is more than ample sleeping quarters especially for kids, tons of kid friendly spaces. There are 2 full kitchens. Modern laundry room. Huge yard with basketball hoop. Only not positive feedback would be the “riverfront” description. While the property itself is riverfront the house IS NOT. There are no river views. The house is next to a main road - traffic noise wasn’t terrible but is there. To get to the riverfront area it is a .17 mile walk on a private dirt/hiking type road though the woods that leads off from their circular driveway. It is an easy short walk for any able bodied person. It would not be doable for anyone with mobility issues. We ourselves enjoyed the walk. It is a drive-able road but for a rugged vehicle. The riverfront area is nice, there are ample chairs, picnic table, one inflatable boat which we enjoyed and 2 paddle boards. Floating dock. Bring your own life jackets. There is a shed with some tubes and fishing items. There is also a fire pit. While chatting with the canoeing neighbor she informed me that there are usually class 2 or 3 rapids just around the bend when the river isn’t low. It was low on our visit. We had no problems paddling the boat with the current on our visit. We did not utilize the paddle boards as we had no life jackets. Feedback to the owners is that this outside furniture could use some cleaning before guests arrive, this area was quite dirty and in disarray on our arrival. The property manager Prudence was wonderful and super available for any issues. The hot tub is maintained on Monday and Fridays by a technician so plan your tub parties appropriately. Maintenance took about an hour and was not disruptive to us. We really liked this home.

Cool place. Very nice. Quiet even though it’s near a main road. The path to the river is cool. Nice place to put in kayaks. Make sure you take steps to fight mosquitos or black flies when in season. They can be vicious. The area is gorgeous otherwise.
