"We found the property was in an amazing position a short walk from a delightful beach BUT it was in need of renovation and very run down. The cooker was not working properly and was badly in need of a thorough clean..or preferably replacement, and the cutlery was inadequate. All the frying pans were nonstick and scratched so that we could bit use them. The showers were in e sorry state with dirty grouting and very dirty shower curtains. "We had a lovely 11 day stay and John and Isabelle were friendly, welcoming and helpful. They told us of places to visit and places to eat and many interesting facts about the local area and Brittany. They also showed us the local Bastille Day celebrations where we watched traditional Bretagne dancing and music and we even got to join in! The gites were well equipped, clean and the garden was lovely to sit and enjoy a drink of wine. The kids absolutely loved the swimming pool."

"The gite is in a great location, a short walk from Doelan, which is a picturesque small port on a small river estuary. The host, Jacques, was very welcoming and friendly. We had some lovely conversations with him. He is a real gentleman. He showed us where the local hidden beaches were located, and advised on coastal walking nearby. Would very much recommend this property. It is great value for money."

"What a lovely stay we had at this perfect property! We came to Carnac to visit the Alignments and what better place to settle than right among these giants that dat back 3500 years. Boniface was just lovely...wonderfully helpful and very communicative. The house had everything we needed: a well equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, a cozy living and dining area, comfy beds. Everything was spotless. It was just wonderful. A quick drive into town and you can walk the beautiful coastal trail off...
