Great screened porch was the highlight
Beds were excellent. Well stocked kitchen and house throughout. Wonderful lake with sandy bottom and could wade out a long long ways. But we loved the screened porch and spent most of our time out there. Our only suggestion is that the furniture and furnishings seemed a bit dated, but that was a minor thing compared to overall excellent experience.

Great Time!
A small group of 4 adults had a 4-day weekend here. This place was great! Super clean, plenty of space, we each had our own bedroom. The screened-in porch was amazing--we hung out here and enjoyed the view of the lake most of the time here. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice cabin with great view
Cabin was as advertised. Kitchen was well stocked with the essentials to do our own cooking. Best feature is the large screened in porch with a northwest view over the lake, which was a wonderful place to spend our evenings. Location was within 20 minutes of good boat ramps for our fishing boat and great golf courses.

The House was perfect. Nice Kitchen with everything we needed. Lots of space and comfortable furniture. We spent lots of time in the screen porch, our favorite spot. The sunsets were beautiful. Shallow water for little ones to play in the lake. Thank You for the Great Family Memories we made at your house.

2.4 miles from BIR. Stayed here for the Nationals. Quiet area, loved the screened in porch! Didn't have time to enjoy the lake but has a nice dock and sandy area for swimming.

Beautiful location
This property was well maintained. Clean and very well stocked. Even though we had rain we were able to use the very large screened in porch which made you feel like you were outside. With the flat yard for yard games and being right next to the water was wonderful. Would stay here again.

The cabin key was not where it was supposed to be when we arrived at designated time but was resolved within 1/2 hour by owner, Chris. Upon entering we immediately in countered a mouse, we put out traps and we’re successful in trapping it, which made most of us a little uneasy. We found out after buying ice cream that the freezer didn’t work properly. Melted and never did freeze. The living room very dark, could use another lamp or overhead light. We had some rainy, gloomy days so more lighting would have helped. No directions for multiple remote controls for tv, etc would’ve been helpful. Main bathroom with tub, door didn’t lock. On the Positives notes the yard and deck were nice and porch was our favorite spot!

Comfortable family cottage next to a nice lake
Four bedrooms, nice for 3 familes with young children next to a lake with a private dock. The shoreline started out shallow which was good for wading children. Kitchen had many utensils for cooking. Airconditioning was appreciated for several 90+ temperature days. Cabin has comfortable vintage furniture, The house was clean. Only concern was that wi-fi connection was very uneven. Loved large screened porch. Our children who have stayed in lakeside cabins in Wisconsin, said this was a great cabin.

Fun vacation
We loved the clear sandy lake! Even though it was shallow it worked for us. It was awesome! Chris answered our questions right away. And he had everything there that we needed. We did have a visitor during the night though. A mouse thought he’d help himself to our hotdog buns and left messes. Things needed some dusting and the tub and shower could use a good scrub down. Otherwise we would definitely go back again. Fun times!

Chris was extremely responsive in answering our questions before the trip and even allowed us to check in early! The screened in porch was awesome and we had some amazing sunsets. The lake is very clean and shallow which worked for us since we just used it to float around in all day. Great trip!

Perfect Cabin Getaway
The photos are very accurate. The 3 season porch is amazing!!! Chris was great beforehand answering any questions I had. We left the key inside one day and the neighbor helped us get back in pretty quickly. One thing is the water this year was very low in the lake so be aware that it is difficult to get a boat in and out without the motor hitting sand. Super clean lake! We had 3 cars and a boat parked there and you can't get much more than that parked there without the neighbor complaining, so don't plan on bringing more cars than that. Would defiantly stay there again!!

Inside cabin layout was perfect for us. The temperatures were unseasonably hot, but the cabin was relatively cool considering it is not air conditioned. We loved the large screened in porch that has a great view of the lake and the sunsets. The large, flat front and back yards are excellent for playing games or for just sitting and enjoying the outdoors. The lake is very clean and clear with mostly sand bottom. It has a very shallow shoreline that extends out hundreds of feet, which is okay for swimming, but was a bit of a negative for us and our 2 boats. We had to run at lowest possible speed because we were in 2 feet or less of water. Chris the owner was great. I highly recommend this cabin.

Summer getaway!
Loved the porch! We brought a boat and had fun taking the boat out to deeper water. Yard was flat and perfect for yard games! The weather was 90+ for the majority of our stay, but the cabin had plenty of fans to keep us comfortable for sleeping. Thanks for sharing your space with us!
