It served as a great base from which to explore other nearby villages and attractions, some even within walking distance using the trail whose access was literally behind the cottage. "This is our second visit and it's a lovely, comfortable little cottage with local parking for just £1 per day and an easy walk into town. Perfect for a few relaxing days away with my cousins. "

We enjoyed having everything on one level in the cottage as my husband has mobility issues. Our only concern was the mattresses on the beds were not quite firm enough for us tall folks with back issues. The kitchen is well supplied for just about any type of meal prep. We did have trouble figuring out the laundry machine, and were told that the dryer part was not working well....
