"I would highly recommend this property. We stayed there for two nights. There were multiple restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Although we had a car, we rarely used it. We did take the car on the ferry to Stornaway Which is also well worth the trip. The owners of this property bent over backwards to make it convenient and charming. My only complaint, and this is Minor is that there were no Kleenexes in the room. However, there were ample outlets for charging our devices and sufficient parking. I would unhesitatingly stay here again, and would highly recommend this charming home to anyone looking for convenience and atmosphere. Absolutely a five star rating."

"Friendly host and was good with local knowledge. Lovely breakfast. Special touches like biscuits in the room made the stay more welcoming. Accommodation was in a good location near shops, pubs and supermarket. TV didn’t work in the room but it was ok because we just played card games. Shower was a bath tub wasn’t an issue for us but might be for some people. "

"Pro: A beautiful historic building with a grand stair entrance and sky lights. Some rooms even have bed canopies. Comfortable bed, warm water and heating that you can adjust not much to complain about. Loved the contactless check in. Private showers, linen and towels included as well as free parking. Access to a shared full kitchen. Con: The building is beautiful but old and in need of some upkeep. It is a bit disheartening to see that some of the fixes had a strong DIY feel. "
