I chose this hotel for its location. The photos online looked nice and I liked that it had free breakfast and an outdoor pool. My room overall was fine. It was clean and looked like it had been recently renovated. The bed was comfortable but pillows were very small. The free breakfast was average, I’ve seen better at similar hotels. The disappointing part of this stay was the staff. Most of them were unfriendly and didn’t appear like they wanted to be there and they definitely need to improve their communication skills or their system for keeping staff updated on guests. I had my Do Not Disturb sign on my door, and my door was banged on 30 min before check out time and I was still staying one more night! I opened the door and pointed to the sign….. the house keeper said I was supposed to check out, which was incorrect. Irregardless, it wasn’t even check out time and the sign was on the door! The next day, after I had been given an extra 30 min to check out, sign still on door, banging on the door happened again before my scheduled departure time. I told the housekeeper that I had been given an extra 30 min. Within 5 min my phone rang telling me I had to leave. I explained again that I was given an extra 30 min. This girl was at least friendly after I explained to her. But obviously this hotel has communication issues and several employees are rude. Other people in my work related travel group had similar experiences. Very disappointed! Service is key! I will not be returning!
